The Space:

This tastefully decorated waterfront condo has two bedrooms and two baths and is located on the seventh floor of the Carousel Hotel, which is famous for its ice rink and amenities such as indoor and outdoor pools, hot tub, sauna, game room, and gym. The hotel has two restaurants as well as a bistro and a beach terrace service bar.



From the condo's spacious waterfront balcony, stretching all the way from the living room to the primary bedroom, one can enjoy beautiful sunrises, while the bayside balcony with a view of the city and the bay offers gorgeous sunsets. The open kitchen is updated and well supplied with all necessary implements. There are a full-size washer and dryer. The primary bedroom has a king-size bed, while the guest bedroom has two queen-size beds. There are three large TVs and free WiFi.

Ocean City has adopted a noise control ordinance that makes it unlawful to cause or permit noise levels which exceed those established by the Department of the Environment of the State of Maryland (COMAR 26.02.03.02) or are in violation of Chapter 30, Article V of the Town Code. It shall be a violation of this agreement and grounds for eviction under Maryland law if these noise levels are exceeded as a result of activity on this property. Ocean City has other noise ordinances, which are criminal offenses if violated.

Great Ocean View and space. The only thing I would say is that there were a few things missing that have been standard like salt and pepper. But the proximity to the supermarket (literally across the street) was very helpful as I made a few runs after each member of my family added another item to the list. The extra entertainment as well as ease of getting to the beach was outstanding!

We stayed 4 nights in the Carousel condo. The location was great and it has easy access to the beach. The balcony was very large and spanned across the living and primary bedroom so nice view of the ocean. The condo was equipped pretty well with kitchen essentials with the exception of a few things like baking sheets and sharp knives. I advised the host about this and they ensured that would be taken care of for the next guest. They even offered to come take care of it while we were there but I declined. Overall, the condo is nice but could definitely use some attention here and there. I spoke to the host privately about this as well so no need to put it in a review as they assured me they would address those things. I hope they do. It would make life much nicer for future guests. The bed in the primary bedroom was very comfortable. We usually bring our own pillows and were glad we did in this case. The pillows supplied leave a lot to be desired and should be replaced so bring your own! The condo had other amenities that families with children would enjoy. We didn’t take advantage of the other amenities since we had no children with us. Host was very easy to communicate with. There was a grocery store right across the street. The boardwalk is not within walking distance so take that into consideration when planning a summer vacation as parking could be tough.
