Beach view obstructed from house porch and terrace. Shops were about 1.5 miles away. The house was very nice and clean but there is broken screens in the sliding doors and crabs could get in from somewhere.

We had an amazing time during our week at this condo! Having the beach just steps away was such a treat we enjoyed walking on every morning. The location was perfect for us, away from the busy energy of downtown but close enough that you could easily walk the 20mins there. The grounds staff were extremely helpful and friendly and the resident cats Sir Gato and Sweetie were so adorable to run into! We honestly didn't want to leave and can't wait to come back

Great location

Playa Langosta is so beautiful and away from the hustle and bustle of Tamerindo. The condo is in a lovely small development and feels safe. Just steps from the gate and onto the beach. The condo is comfortable and well appointed. I loved having the pool and beach options.

Tamarindo is the spot

The place is in a great location, few minutes to the beach and 6min car ride into Tamarindo where it is bumpin.The home was a bit dated, but all in all we had a great time.

Great patios

The property was clean and well-equipped. It was quiet and out of the business of downtown Tamarindo. We enjoyed the nearby restaurants any a quick walk to a good boggie board beach. The beach was in our backyard and the pool in the front yard. The Villa staff was also very friendly. We would definitely stay here again.

Great for families!

We had a great time here. The easy beach access meant morning walks along the shore for the grandparents and the pool right outside the door meant it was easy for the kids to swim before we headed out for the day. We rented a golf cart to get into town which worked out well. There’s stores nearby and the condo had everything we needed to get started cooking the day we arrived. We loved the quieter location and would recommend this stay!

Quiet living and beach area.

We enjoyed the little used pool area and quiet area of the beach outside the gated community. It was a 15-minute walk to the conveniences of town but it was nice to be away from the busyness of Tamarindo. House was well- furnished. Howler monkeys lived in a tree in parking area.

Perfect spot near Tamarindo

The place was great. Exactly as listed. Lots of room for the whole family, right on the beach for morning walks and evening sunsets. The property managers were very responsive to all of our needs and always got back to us quickly. Bonus: Howler monkeys hung out in the gorgeous mango tree near the pool! Definitely would recommend.

Amazing Experience

This place exceeded our expectations. You are steps to the ocean and a beautiful beach through the front door and you walked out the back door and you were at the pool. The staff was lovely. The place was clean and spacious. We felt very safe. The complex is quiet and calm and the residents were friendly. I would go back again in a heart beat.

Relaxing vacation right on the beach!

Great location away from noise and bustle of Tamarindo but close enough for dining, shopping, etc. Rocky beach right in front so no swimming but quick drive to swim. Villa was spacious, plenty of towels, all necessary appliances and kitchen utensils. Would recommend window coverings for windows facing the pool. Property clean and staff was friendly and helpful. Would highly recommend!

Great location, great neighbors

Overall the stay was great. The property is in a great location. It's a quiet spot but near enough to walk to restaurants.. the apartment is nicely equipped and things functioned as try should. Beds were comfortable. Just a couple things i hope get fixed. There were bees and crabs that kept getting in. I think due to a large gap in the door. Also the upstairs bathroom has windows strategically placed just above the toilet with no covering and a direct view to the apartment building and the public walkway to the beach.! We put towels up to two to block the view but it was not ideal.

Nice condo with direct beach access and good customer service from host, RPM Vacation Rentals.

We enjoyed watching the sunrise and sunset from our patio and balcony. We were greeted by a family of monkeys in the tree above our patio they day we checked in which was very cool. Condo is well located for visiting several of the beautiful beaches nearby, It was stocked with pretty much everything we needed. A couple items listed in amenities (hair dryer & iron) were not in the condo when we arrived but we reported it to the host who quickly responded and brought us those items.

Quiet Pleasant Option

Pros: Quiet location Safe, gated off-street parking One mile from downtown Tamarindo Nice community Pool Responsive management (had some minors issues come up) Lovely gift basket upon arrival Cons: Unable to watch live TV ** Cannot see the water from the unit unless you are on the 2nd floor balcony ** Can't swim or do much with the beachfront because very rocky Could have had a few more kitchen staples on hand Tiny hermit crabs running around (harmless and can't do much about them)

Playa Langosta Unit 1

Rating Details: The property manager was very helpful. The vacation rental was very clean. I was very happy with the location. I was very satisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: Awesome unit, was a comfortable size for a family of 4. Kitchen was well stocked. Bathrooms were clean, plenty of towels, and hot water. Washer and dryer were a huge plus. Would suggest putting a safety strip on the upstairs area that steps down....where you least expect. RPM was awesome, place was beautifully maintained, pool was very refreshing, and we particularly enjoyed that it was not in the sun in the afternoon as we needed some respite after swimming on the beach, security and gardener both brought us a couple of delicious mangos. We will be going back, hopefully soon!!!!

Rating Details: The property manager was very helpful. The vacation rental was very clean. I was very happy with the location. I was satisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: Upon arrival, Lola informed us (she actually sent an email I didn't get because we were in the air) that the ACs in the two upstairs bedrooms weren't working. This ended up being okay because the four people who were supposed to come with us cancelled at the last minute. The downstairs bedroom had a most uncomfortable mattress. Lola arranged to have a mattress from upstairs brought downstairs. My disappointment with the condo has nothing to do with the service we received from the RPM staff. As usual, Lola was accommodating and friendly. We love her!

Great location, plenty of space, Bee infestation

We found the area of this condo to be a nice mix of close enough to downtown Tamarindo, but still far enough away to get distance from the crowd and traffic. It's also practically on the beach which was nice too The condo itself is well designed and offers plenty of space. It's a bit dated so don't expect perfect conditions. Upon entering there were some dead bugs and tiny crabs scattered throughout the condo, but not a big deal. The major concern was the first morning when the condo became infested with bees. The property management, RPM, was not able to do anything about it because it was a Sunday. The next day they sent the maintenance guy (Guillermo is super friendly!) who opened the roof to try and get the bees out, but it did not fix the issue. After a few days of being patient with the situation, we had enough. RPM found us another condo just down the street which was in a much nicer condition. To their credit, RPM provided us with a little care package upon our arrival at the new condo. It was a little frustrating that RPM didn't quite understand the severity of the issue until we started to press on them more assertively. Bottom line - if you consider this condo, ask for a guarantee that the bee problem has been resolved.

Beautiful place near the beach

Very nice spot near the surf spot. Several good things about the place and also the equipment in the villa. Near a small grocery, good outdoor. The only things, needs dome improvement in the bathroom at the top floor.
