Beautiful views, great location & lovely comfortable house

Walking distance to the village & Sudeley Castle was a positive for our comfortable weekend stay. Bathrooms for each bedroom was a bonus and downstairs space provided good areas to sit to chat, eat and relax. Owner is friendly and approachable. Will definitely return if the opportunity arises.

Lovely house in Winchcombe

Nine of us from our walking club stayed in this lovely, spacious property with a large, comfortable living room. We went to a couple of local pubs in the evenings, so didn't cook, but the kitchen seemed well equipped. Dave, the owner, was very friendly and helpful. The property is clean and airy and we would definitely stay again.

Fabulous stay

This property is in a brilliant location for Winchcombe. The town's facilities are a short walk away and there are loads of walks you can do from there. The house is perfect for 10 adults with a large dining table and comfortable lounge. The pool table was a great feature and many games were played. The garden was very pretty. We had a wonderful time in a great lication

Great house, close to the town with lovely shops, pubs and restaurants. For a weekend break there are also great walking routes near from the front door.

Family weekend

Lovely well equipped cottage ideal for a family get together. (5 Adults and 4 teenagers) The snooker table was a great hit and was well used by everyone. Diane popped round on arrival and had plenty of ideas for days out and details of the local area. Had a great weekend.

Great place to stay for a cycling weekend

As a group of friends who enjoy cycling, Kingfisher Cottage was an ideal place to stay. There was room for 7 of us in comfortable well decorated bedrooms, some sharing in twin rooms, and very helpfully every room has an ensuite or shower room nearby. Plenty of space for communal living with a large conservatory with a big dining table overlooking the well kept garden. Di was a very helpful host and also a keen cyclist, so she gave us plenty of helpful tips for good routes in the beautiful Cotswold countryside. We had a fantastic weekend and would love to return.

A fabulous place to stay

Kingfisher Cottage was absolutely perfect for our multigenerational family gathering to celebrate my 80th birthday. Di and Dave, living next door, were so friendly, kind and helpful. They left some lovely treats for us to enjoy during our weekend stay. The house was well equipped and the garden was fabulous, obviously really well loved. Being so close to the town it really wasn’t necessary for us to use our cars all weekend. Thanks to our hosts for a fantastic holiday venue.

Return to the Cotswolds

Kingfisher Cottage was perfect for our visit. We were a 3-generation family, including a 4 year old. The downstairs accommodation and garden worked really well for us. The bedrooms were fine especially as each were ensuite, although a little small, each of us had our own space. The location is an absolute key draw, sitting on multiple well marked hiking paths and Winchcombe has everything you need including independent shopping, pubs and restaurants. Plus, a perfect location to tour the Cotswolds.

Lovely place to have a family get together

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at Kingfisher Cottage. The property is beautifully presented and well equipped. The owners popped over to welcome us which was lovely. The treats left were very welcome too. The large room at the back has stunning views of the garden and the countryside beyond and was definitely a massive highlight. We would definitely like to return for another stay.

The Kingfisher cottage which is set in beautiful surrounding and is also very cozy and comfortable with well stocked overall provisions of all the facilities within the cottage. Thoroughly enjoyed our long weekend family break with all amenities within walking distance. Thoroughly recommend this cottage for a family break.

Kingfisher Cottage for the perfect stay.

This was our four stay at Kingfisher Cottage, having four double en-suite bedrooms and its central location it is perfect for reunion’s with friends from all over the UK. Our group gave the facilities 10 out of 10 once again and are already looking forward and planning their reunion stay for next year. Thanks must go to the hosts for such a wonderful venue. All aspects of our stay were excellent. The property was beautifully furnished, very well located on the outskirts of the lovely town and within walking distance of Sudeley Castle. The pool table and garden were an added bonus.

Beautiful cottage in a stunning location

The cottage was perfect for our group, lovely and clean and very well equipped, we wanted for nothing! Di and Dave couldn't have been more helpful. Check in and out was very easy. The location is gorgeous.

A family weekend in kingfisher cottage

We had a wonderful weekend celebrating my 65 birthday at kingfisher cottage. It was a perfect place for extended family with my toddler Granddaughter. It was lovely and warm , very large with a very well equipped kitchen. Lots of room for everyone to relax with several sofas to lounge on. Beds were comfortable with excellent en suites . We were just 5 minutes walk to centre of town with pubs and restaurants

We live nearby in Winchcombe and booked the house for a family get together as my daughter was over from Australia. It was a great success and enjoyed by everyone.

Excellent property in a great location.

An excellent property with four ensuite well presented bedrooms, an additional downstairs bedroom and ground floor bathroom / wet room. We were lucky with the weather and made good use of the garden, the kitchen is very well equipped and we had some great meals at the large table in the conservatory. There's a great walk immediately out the back along the river and the village up the road has a couple of pubs with great beer gardens at a gentle sub 10 minute walk. So all in all highly recommended. A bonus for us was the full sized pool table which got a lot of use!!

A Comfortable Stay for 10 people.

We had a very comfortable stay for 10 people. The house was immaculate on arrival and Christmas decorations made a very festive look. There was enough space for all of us to be comfortable and the kitchen was well equipped. It was fun having the Pool table for us to use. We would certainly book it again.

Excellent location. 10 guests fit comfortably. The owners thought of everything to make the stay a good experience. Walkable distance to the town and castle. Owners provided lots of information including maps and good walks

Christmas break

The house is immaculate and the owner is nearby and popped in to make sure everything was ok. The house is perfectly placed to explore the area and the walks in the area are lovely. I would rebook this house and recommend to anyone.

Family celebration

We used the Cottage for a family celebration of our 50th wedding anniversary. The property comfortably took all ten of us ranging from 4 to 74. Lovely garden and amenities perfectly located for family gatherings.

Family reunion

Kingfisher Cottage is in an amazing location and provided plenty of room and all the facilities we needed for 7 adults, 3 children and 1 baby for a long weekend. The outdoor table in the beautiful garden was a bonus and appreciated by all.

Weekend break with friends

We had a lovely time at Kingfisher cottage, great facilities and beautiful garden which had everything we needed to make our stay enjoyable. All the rooms had fans which were really welcome as it was very warm. The house is in a lovely location so we didn’t need to go very far and had a very relaxing time
