The Space:

Freshly renovated in conjunction with acclaimed interior designer, we have created relaxed spaces that are simultaneously luxurious and laid back for your home base. This cozy oasis has warm wood floors and soft wool rugs, and is flooded with light throughout. The stylish interiors are equally as comfortable as they are beautiful and meant to give rest and fun for our guests. Your every desire has been anticipated, including a bath tub, Frame TV., dedicated work space and washer/dryer. (We’ve even got wool dryer balls for you!)



The kitchen with its white cabinets, quartz countertops, stainless appliances and island with bar stools, is as well-outfitted as yours at home and fit for several day’s stay. A large assortment of small appliances, pots and pans, good knives, table linens, a full set of spices and even a chef’s apron are at your disposal.



Koselig Hus (thus named because 'Koselig' is the Norwegian word for ‘hygge’ which means ‘cozy’) can comfortably sleep 6 guests in three bedrooms, each furnished with a designer king-sized bed and all the creature comforts any traveler can imagine. We’ve even stocked your closets with nice wooden hangers! So, feel free to unpack!



Start your morning off right with a cup of french-pressed coffee or a quick cup from the Keurig at our coffee bar. For non-coffee drinkers, choose from a selection of our favorite teas.



Gather your family and friends around the large, round dining table with eight chairs to share a meal, enjoy conversations and to play some of the many games provided and you will end up creating memories and experiences that will last a lifetime.



The disappearing glass wall opens to extend the interior spaces to the covered porch out back where guests can swing in hanging chairs, sit by the fire pit or take a dip in the Hot-tub, then rinse off in the outdoor shower.



Need to give your car a charge while you’re relaxing or playing? You’re in luck. We’ve provided an EV charger on the left side of the house just waiting for you. EV Charger use fee is $30 per day. Instructions on use and how to pay fee are posted on the wall next to the EV charger.

2. Not all homes have cable; consider setting up a streaming account in advance.

3. Our team is committed to assisting you, though occasional check-in delays may occur during peak periods.

4. WiFi is available in all homes, but uninterrupted service is not guaranteed. No refunds or rate adjustments will be made for mechanical failures, or discontinued or interrupted services that occur during your stay.

5. A $500 fine will be imposed for any evidence of smoking, confetti, vomit residues, or glitter.

6. Set the A/C no lower than 72 degrees to prevent freezing and system issues; no refunds for low-temperature-related A/C problems.

7. Start-up sundries provided for the first two days; report missing items within one hour of arrival.

8. Pet-friendly units welcome pets with an additional fee; ensure pets are well-behaved and respectful.

9. Bugs are common in the Texas Hill Country; pest control is in place, but some insects are inevitable.

10. In Texas, there are periods of time without significant rainfall causing the county to place a ban on burning. Please check the current burn ban status, before using the fire pit at your vacation rental. Check the amenities to see if this rental is equipped with a fire pit.

11. Please observe Fredericksburg’s Quiet Hours (10 p.m. to 7 a.m.)

12. The City of Fredericksburg is an international Dark Sky Community. To protect the dark skies, please turn off outdoor lighting when not in use.

13. Only utilize the designated on-site and off-site parking spaces at your rental.

14. For any issues during your stay, a 72-hour window after check-out is provided to file a claim. Note that refunds won't be issued for claims submitted after this period. We appreciate your cooperation.
