I was the perfect simple place to stay on my last day in Dublin. The breakfast was good and the airport bus is right out the door. It is close to last minute gift and souvenir shopping too.

For the price and location to Dublin Center, Glen House is a great fit. It is not a four star, but is meshed within the community of Dublin. Our two night stay was very convient and the free breakfasts were incredible and very Irish. Yes, we would stay at Glen House again.

It is important to know that this is a dormatory/hostel, not a hotel. This was our last stop during our visit to Ireland and maybe it is a misunderstanding on my part. The last two places we stayed were "Guest Houses" maybe this means dormitory/hostel in Ireland because both of them were just that. The other one was a bit better because it had a refrigerator and a hair dryer. This hotel didn't have either and when you are traveling from abroad, a hair dryer is a very good thing to have because of the electric conversion. It was nice that breakfast was included, but it was just nourishment, nothing to write home about. In all fairness, I had french toast not the Irish breakfast, so maybe that was better. I had had enough of the Irish breakfasts at that point. This place suits the purpose but doesn't earn a high rating. It is probably my age and stage in my life where I want something a little bit nicer. It was also noisy as we were on the first floor and backed up to an alley. Bottom line, it is the bare necessity. I mainly wrote this to inform that it is not a hotel, it is a dormitory/hostel.

Quiet room on 3rd floor. Only one of the front desk staff was helpfull. Hope no one needs help during the night, the room phone was shut off and the front desk staff was sleeping behind locked door.

It was very oldfashioned and much used. But anyway, everything worked and that's important. The furniture was also old and overdated.

A great place for refundable price

Great location, great staff, great free breakfast, great room. The facility is not modern but completely matches the pics and description. Make sure to get a room not facing to the street if available.

Rather basic accommodations. Beds were not the most comfortable and room was small but the bathroom was large and clean. Breakfast was very good and the location makes for an easy walk to a local pub as well as a quick exit to the airport.

Noisy with seagulls and machinery in building, bed and pillows were awful. Strange building.

I was expecting a 3 star bed and breakfast and we got a sketchy room in a sketchy back building with lots of noise. Would not recommend.

Excellent stay and perfect location!

The stay was great. The hotel is located in city centre of Dublin and it close to all the major city attractions. The morning and afternoon managers went above and beyond to help us out with recommendations, transportation, etc.! I highly recommend I'd you are planning to experience Dublin.

Good location

This is a pretty basic hotel. The beds were comfortable and the room and bathroom were clean. It is within walking distance to the main train station, and you can catch busses on O'Connell Street (5-10 minute walk) to get around the city. There are also two tram stops (Luas) within walking distance. There was a bus stop right outside the hotel for the Airport bus, which was a big plus for me. On O'Connell Street you can get a Leap Family Card that allows for 24 hour travel on the busses and trams (including the airport bus) for a family of 4 for 10 Euros. That was a great deal for us, but I think it is only available until December 2016. I would definitely stay here again because of the location, and it was relatively quiet.
