Overpriced and underwhelming

Upon arrival the room turned out to not be so clean as there was an empty condom wrapped on the floor. Furthermore, the walls were pretty thin and the other guests and people in the hallways could be heard. You could hear others showering, snoring, talking, etc. The room also included a disappointing breakfast, maybe the worst one I’ve had so far. For the price of the room, I would hope for a much better experience overall, but this is near the bottom of my list.

An affordable hotel, but shared bathroom amenities were badly designed. The hotel is in the fourth floor of a big building. The location is convenient, near the train station and buses. There are a lot of businesses around. There is a convenient store nearby. I stayed in a bedroom that had four beds, two in each bunk. The bed containers were of decent size and had a curtain for privacy. The container height was not too short. To use the light and TV at the bed, you need to leave your key card. This is inconvenient when you need to unlock the locker, which is outside the compartments, because you need to scan the key card there. The bedroom also had a shared compartment for the shower and another compartment for the toilet. I think this design is not a good idea if you do not want to disturb your other roommates. I feel a whole separate unit exclusively for shower and toilet would be much, much nicer. Plus that way you could have a mirror and a table to put your stuff on. In any case, I thought the shower and toilet compartments were too cramped. Also, there was no towel. I was lucky I brought my own. There is no place to hang your stuff dry, so be aware. Also, no soap to wash your hands after using the toilet. For the shower, there’s shower gel and shampoo (no conditioner). The hotel atmosphere within the room hallway is dark, with very low lighting. I feel like it could be brighter. Sharing the room with others could take you out of your comfort zone, especially since

Overall for the price per night and in comparison with other hostels, this place isn’t bad at all. The bunk beds have a lot of ceiling space but my main issue was that the shower and toilet are integrated to the room with the 8 bunk beds... not so private in that sense! Otherwise great location, friendly staff, it’s a fair deal.

Booked a room with double bed and park view. Strong humidity and old smell when entering the room. Strange smell of the towels (like it has been washed with white vinegar). The main ventilation of the room is very noisy and cannot be turned off, fortunately we had some earplugs with us. McDonald breakfast. For the same price, there are much better hotels in Taipei.

Good facilities for me

Not bad. It is really convenient. Shower room&toilet in the room for 8person. Near Sogo department store,many Japanese food,local restaurant..satisfied with all. Id like to recommend for solo trip. Overall It was good facilities.

Great Hotel for a Great Price

Stayed in the deluxe room for 12 nights during my stay. Nice spacious room with high ceilings made it a great, comfortable stay. Bathrooms were equipped with Japanese toilet seats (bidet), which was a great touch. Large bed was actually two smaller mattresses together, but that's fine. Bed slept pretty well. Room was very clean when first arrived and cleaned thoroughly each time housekeeping was requested. Only minor downsides to the room are that the deluxe rooms are separated by a door (allowing room to room access), however not very sound proof so you can usually hear some conversation or the shower running on the other side. Also, default settings on the thermostat run very cold so remember to adjust accordingly. Lastly, the shower water temp is a bit fickle. Didn't really use the other hotel amenities, but a traditional Taiwanese breakfast was included. Only ate it once as it's a very simple breakfast. Lots of good and cheap food options minutes walk from the hotel anyway.

This place is nice and clean but..

This place is nice and clean but I just had really bad.. bad experience here on the day I checked out. If anyone who booked this hotel is planning on doing their laundry here, I want to stop you. Did my laundry here before I check out but ended up throwing some of my clothes away due to their poor maintance of their laundry machine. Clothes were worth 120ish total. Not much but my perfectly new clothes, pants and towel got orange stains after I did my laundry here... Had to ask my bf to come over to translate since not many employees here speak English fluently. Asked the front desk and talked to the boss and nothing in return. All I hear was just bunch of excuses trying to get away. Oh, but they gave me $50 NT coins so I can rewash my clothes. Did a bit of research why my clothes stained after I moved to different hotel and something to do with rust inside the washing machine.. Still not happy with how they resolved with this situation.

Bang for your Buck

My stay was well worth the money. Its a capsule theme room with 8 racks and a shared shower and toilet. It is actually pretty nice and well designed. I would stay there again and liked the location!

wow, feel and looks like a hotel

location was great, 5 min from the MRT train. Reception struggled to speak English. The dorm had this Japenese feel, own curtain, TV, and electronic locker, same key for the room. A dorm of 8, very spacious and own modern shower and toilet. A computer to share at reception and complete modern kitchen with coin laundry near by. What was weird, kitchen and laundry was only available between 6pm til 12am. Lacks in atmosphere due to a hotel feel.The Wifi was fast.

Last night in Taiwan

Stayed one night. There was a sandwich in the room inside of a bag. We wondered if it was a gift from the hotel, but there wasn't a note with it. The shower drain was clogged up and the toilet was a bit confusing to use. Nice, but a little complicated. I did love the design of the rooms and the neighborhood location.

Clean, no wifi in rooms, good location

EXTREMELY CLEAN. i was in a top bunk bed, hard to get up to. Only 50% of the front desk staff speaks English. Those girls are hired for their looks, not their language speaking skills. Towel cost an extra $50. WIFI is Lobby only. No wifi in rooms. Difficult to find also. Great neighborhood. Allowed me to check in early.
