Det är en ljus liten loftstudio på sjätte våningen (med hiss) i ett vackert och charmigt tornhus i det trettonde århundradet (Torre_dei_Rigaletti). Hissen går upp till femte våningen och sedan är det en kort trappa.

Lägenheten är åtkomlig med en liten entré; Steg efter steg Florens kommer att dyka upp i all sin skönhet. Lägenheten består av ett välutrustat pentry, ett matbord, en dubbelsäng, en soffa (som blir en enkelsäng) och ett badrum med dusch. Utsikten kommer att ta andan iväg: fönstren på tre sidor som öppnar till hustaken i Florens, Duomo-kupolen, Palazzo Vecchio, Palazzo Pitti, Boboli Gardens, Forte Belvedere, klocktorn och kullar, så att du kan beundra Florens prakt överifrån, i fred.

På den rymliga terrassen (ca 25 kvadratmeter) kan du tillbringa underbara frukostar, romantiska aperitifer och oförglömliga stunder att koppla av. och på sommaren kan du också sola! Och det är det bästa stället att utforska staden: två steg från Ponte Vecchio, Uffizi-galleriet, Piazza della Signoria, Duomo och de största shoppinggatorna. Det är en idealisk utgångspunkt för att besöka alla de viktigaste kulturella attraktionerna i staden och upptäck de roligaste detaljerna.

First Florian experience

Oh my word. What a sweet spot. From the moment we were met at the doors by the host to show us around; to the easy check out. Our time was so special. The views are incredible. The spot is so quaint and special. It is literally steps away from some of the most beautiful views. We were so well taken care of by our host it truly made us feel so welcomed and cared for. I highly recommend this place! (Must be able to do stairs without a problem)

Honeymoon getaway

This is the most beautiful place we’ve ever stayed at, the pictures don’t do it justice with that view. And everything is so historical and cozy. Host responded immediately to any concerns or questions we had and were very thorough. Overall can’t complain about a gem.

Such a view

We had a great stay. The weather, despite being late December, allowed for us to eat on the lovely terrace. The beds were super comfortable. Besides being well-situated for the view of the Duomo and other monuments, the apartment is in a great spot for walking, dining (fine and takeout) and sightseeing. Thanks!

Can't beat the view or location! The patio is a great bonus. We didn't feel guilty about staying in for dinner and wine the night we were exhausted because we had the patio which allowed us to continue to see and listen to the city while we stayed in.

Rooftop

We loved this place! The private rooftop space is perfect- so nice to be above the city with gorgeous views and privacy. The apartment’s location is smack in the middle of the most touristy part of Florence, but the apartment with its private deck offered a great getaway and respite from the bustle of the street. A great value. Our hosts were very responsive and attentive. The communication was a bit awkward: we had very little Wi-Fi to email on the Vrbo site, so used Whatasapp and were never really sure who we were talking to! But all the minor issues we raised with them were quickly taken care of. Highly recommend.

Florence With A View

Place was a little small and a little shabby and don’t expect to take too many hot showers. But ideal location and incredible view made it all worthwhile. Paula made check-in super easy and was amazingly helpful. Overall a great stay!

Wow, what a view.

Lovely place with a spectacular terrace and view. Communication with the landlord was excellent throughout. Loads of help checking in, orienting ourselves etc. Only complaint is that we could not get the washing machine to work.

Great Views

The check in process was really easy. I failed to bring cash for the tax portion of the fee so make sure to do so. The apartment is small but very functional. The balcony is SUPER - you can see views all over the city and a great place to have your lunch or dinner. If I visited Florence again I would love to stay in this apartment.

A great stay!

The studio apartment was in the absolute best location! It was an easy walk to all of the main attractions in Florence, in addition to many great places to eat. The terrace offered an incredible view of the Duomo and the Palazzo Vecchio.

Schönes Florenz, mittelmäßige Unterkunft

Unterkunft liegt zentral, das Bad riecht übel, da in den Abflussrohren kein Geruchsstop eingebaut ist. Küche ist sehr spartanisch eingerichtet, Gardinen sind zum Teil aus der Schiene gerissen, was einen sehr lodderigen Eindruck hinterlässt. Wäschetausch war ok, wenn man außer Acht lässt, dass die zuständige Person ohne zu klopfen oder zu klingeln im Zimmer stand. Da das Sonnensegel für die Terrasse fehlte , kontaktieren wir die zuständigen Personen. Auskunft war, dass man beim Besitzer der Wohnung nachfragen muss. Bis zum Ende des Urlaubs leider zu dem Thema nichts mehr gehört . Insgesamt sehenswerte Stadt, Unterkunft gewöhnungsbedürftig.

Excellent Location - Great for a romantic stay. A bit rustic!

We loved our 8 day stay here. The location was easily the best part because seeing Florence can be hot and tiring. We were almost never more than a few minutes walk away, so we were able to take frequent breaks throughout the days. This alone was SO valuable. The A/C was also very powerful so it was great for cooling off after a hot day of sightseeing. The kitchen was well-stocked although we didn't use it. The toilet and shower are a touch on the rustic side, but we didn't mind. Everything worked well. Hot water was plenty hot, but the water would be just warm intermittently due to being on the 7th floor. This really wasn't a problem for us, especially since it was so hot outside. Elevator is small, and there are some narrow steps after the elevator. It could be a little challenging if you have mobility issues or when moving large bags in/out. Hosts were easy to work with and shared some good recommendations, but overall we felt like we had our own private rooftop flat for a week. We loved it!

Tolle Lage. Das beste ist die Terrasse. Da sieht man auch darüber hinweg, dass man aus dem eigentlichen Studio noch mehr machen könnte. Gemütlich fanden wir es dennoch. Auf der Terrasse sollte man jedoch die Putzuntensilien in einem Schrank oder ähnlichem verstecken.

Great location!

I stayed here with my 15 and 18 year old kids, and they were quite enamored with the charm and authentic feeling of this apartment. Let’s talk pros and cons. Pros- best possible location. You’re 4 min walk from a grocery store, two self serve restaurants just downstairs, the Ponte Vechio is a half block away. Everything is walkable. We even walked the 15 min to the train station with our luggage. The only time we took a taxi was to go all the way out to the bus station. Also, the balcony is amazing. The sunsets up there were gorgeous. We loved sitting outside having wine and taking in the breathtaking sights! Look left for Piazzale Michaelangelo, and look right for the duomo, and they are right there! Lastly, the check in was easy, and the property manager very nice. He gave us a map and shared all the best sights. He was quick to respond if I texted through the app. And the apartment was clean. Cons- Well, the apartment is dated and some of the maintenance isn’t kept up. For example, the sliding doors don’t lock. That made me nervous. The property manager said it’s been like that for 12 years and nobody can access the balcony from the outside, but I didn’t feel secure. The toilet rocks back and forth when you sit on it. The hot water goes in and out during the shower. The only clothes closet doubles as a maintenance/storage closet. It could definitely stand some updating. But overall, we would stay again. It felt like we lived here, just for a minute, and we loved it!

Fantastic location with great views

A basic room with beautiful views of the city. The room itself is okay. Could use some updates. The location is great just a block from the Ponte Vecchio. The outdoor area is large enough for a number of people to sit comfortably with incredible views. As the listing mentions there is an elevator and another flight of steps so make sure you are okay with that much walking.

Could not be better!

Everything about this place was exactly what we wanted. The view could not be better, Pitti Palace on one side and Duomo on the other, sun setting over the million rooftops, with a huge deck to relax on. It was very clean and perfectly equipped. Everything we wanted to see (Duomo, Uffizi, Ponte Vechio and the Pallaza with all the posh shopping) was within a 5 minute walk. Cesare greeted us so warmly and spent so much time telling us what we needed to know but also spread out a map and marked all the must see's and not-so important. He was such a delight and his passion for Florence was evident. We will be back!

TLC required (5 star location)

This property is in a fantastic location and has stunning views off the balcony and from inside. It has just about enough to cover all your needs but the pictures are out way out of date. Balcony is very cluttered and covered in mould as is the shower and floors are in very rough shape as well. This could be a fantastic location but because of these issues we would not recommend this place until repairs have been made . 2019 reviews mention some of these issues and they are still a problem which clearly indicates nothing has been done to correct them.

Fantastic Firenze

Lovely time in Firenze and this apartment was a big reason. It’s an older, top level apartment which gives an authentic feel. The large terrace has absolutely wonderful views of the city, while communication with the host was wonderful. And the location is prime!
