Först bryts Anna Maria Island upp i 3 städer, Anna Maria, Holmes Beach och Bradenton Beach. Staden Anna Maria är den nordligaste delen av ön och den mest populära. Var försiktig när du letar efter stuguthyrning. En vanlig sökning på VRBO kommer att visa 300 plus-listor. Bara en bråkdel av dessa är faktiskt i Anna Maria, och ännu mindre är faktiskt på stranden. Många kommer att vara, steg till stranden, blockerar till stranden eller stranden, eller strandområdet och vidare och vidare. Se till att du faktiskt väljer strand när du gör din sökning. Se till att du zoomar in på kartan för att se vilka som är "AKTUELLT" PÅ STRANDEN. Det finns inte många, men min är !!!!! Om du letar efter ett nytt 3 eller 4 våningar helt nytt betonghem med alla de senaste och bästa, så är det inte din plats. Detta är en "gammal Florida" strand hem. Det är anledningen till att folk kommer till Anna Maria, vi är mest "gamla Florida". Titta igenom bilderna noga för att se vad du får. Om du ska sitta inne hela dagen och titta på väggarna och undra på granitbänkskivorna och hur modern platsen är, slösar du din semester. Vad är viktigare, titta på den nya moderna platsen du vistas på, eller spendera din tid på stranden fiske eller titta på Dolphins och Manatees och otroliga Sea Birds och vår vackra ö? Direkt stranden med vattnet är mindre än 50 fot till ditt sovrum!
Vår familj har bott på denna ö i 40 år och besökte sätt dessförinnan.
Från den första koppen kaffe tittar soluppgången på morgonen till margarita när solen går ner, blir du inte besviken. Observera att detta är ett förhöjt hem som krävs för alla nya bostäder byggda efter mitten av 1970-talet genom Anna Maria City regler. Det finns trappor från marknivå till levande andra våningen och ALLA gäster måste vara fysiskt kapabla att klättra i trappan.

Angel’s Envy was the perfect respite. As soon as you walk in, you know you are home. Spent every morning watching sunrises and every evening with beautiful sunsets. Joe has supplied you with everything you need to just relax and enjoy. Super clean rooms and a wonderful kitchen to cook in. So close to everything, yet secluded enough for peace and quiet. The dolphins, manatees, birds, with a surprise appearance of a stingray, kept us entertained. Joe was an amazing host. Very responsive to our needs. If you are lucky enough to stay at his place, go out to the private beach and say hello to Bubba Bear . You will be glad for a wonderful experience. Thanks Joe! We appreciate you sharing your lovely home with us.

Without a doubt, the best place we've visited in a while! The most beautiful sunrise from the house's oceanfront balcony! Excellent communication with the management! Not to mention the dolphins and manatees right in front of you every day! We'll definitely be back.

Privacy! Peaceful and the view was amazing. Wonderful location. House had everything we needed. Daily manatee and dolphins swimming very close to where we were. Steps to bean point sunsets. Close to restaurants. If you’re looking to relax and wind down this is your spot.

Week get-away

We had a wonderful time at this beautiful home! It was literally right on the water, and we enjoyed that tremendously! The views and the sunrises were MAGNIFICENT! The host was very good about answering questions…, and I am a talker! lol... He never seemed to mind my asking questions, as I was making sure that I was packing what we’d need there. Honestly, he provided more “extras” than I’ve ever seen also: he goes above and beyond! The house was probably the cleanest rental I’ve ever stayed in: pure perfection! I give the host and this house the highest rating possible!

I can sum this trip in one word, “WOW”. The property location was exceptional. Joe, the owner communicated with us and made us feel at home. His house was clean, comfortable, and relaxing. Everything involved with this property and location is a 10. We watched the sunrises in the morning with the dolphins, manatees, stingrays, blue herons, and wildlife. You won’t need to bring anything really because Joe had a grill, umbrellas, fishing gear, swim towels, all the items you need in a kitchen, I mean everything. We are so happy we picked Joe’s property! We will be back again for sure. Thank you Joe for hosting us and making our granddaughters 18th birthday special! We will keep in touch. Thank you and God Bless.

My Happy Place

First time on Anna Maria Island, and loved it! The angels envy was a perfect location to stay in for us. We were very impressed with the cleanliness and the kitchen was amazing! Joe was a very attentive host and quick to respond. We loved having the beach in the backyard, but just know there is no additional beach beyond the sea wall. A great spot to float and fish! The dolphins and manatees were amazing to watch throughout the day along with the beautiful sunrise in the morning and a five minute walk to beautiful sunsets! The beaches are beautiful with the softest sand ever. We enjoyed having a rental car to explore, kayaking, walking paths on the preserves and the unbelievable restaurants close by. We chose not to do golf cart and or bikes, but keep that in mind. Rentals are everywhere. There is a lot of recovery reconstruction going on but it’s amazing. How much has been completed. Thank you Joe for an amazing experience!

Sea Sanctuary for the Soul!

My girlfriends and I are grateful to Joe for offering his beautiful home to rent and enjoy. Joe communicated with us throughout the catastrophic hurricanes and took every measure to accommodate our needs. We couldn't have asked for anything more. Joe's home is spectacular and had been updated and refurnished. His home was appointed with everything we needed for our comfort, entertainment, relaxation, and enjoyment. The rent is a great value considering such spectacular, unobstructed views and selfishly enjoying them without neighbors or being among a multi-unit property.Every day we were greeted with the most colorful and glorious sunrises, meandering manatees, rambunctious rays, salty sea birds, and delightful dolphins frolicking mere feet from us. Our cheeks were gently kissed by a fresh ocean breeze and we were mesmerized by the waves lapping outside our door with water colored every shade of blue and green which nourished our souls. Joe was an attentive host and responded quickly to our questions and needs leading up to and during our stay.The houses on either side were impacted by the devastating hurricanes and at various stages of disrepair. We felt it gave us a greater deal of privacy to enjoy the majestic views from the deck and ground level lounge chairs.Joe, we LOVED your place. Thank you for everything! You are the host every other should aspire to become. Hope to be back soon. Lisa, Michelle, and Tara.

Beautiful View and Location

We stayed at Angel’s Envy and it was our first time on Anna Maria Island. We loved the charm of the island and the location of the house. What a view! We watched the sunrise every morning and saw dolphins every day. The house was newly renovated and fit our family perfectly. Between the house and backyard it had everything we needed and there were days that we skipped the beach to hang out on the bay. The kitchen was stocked with all the essentials needed and we were able to cook many of our meals. Would definitely like to come back to stay. Joe was a very gracious host.

Great spot

We really enjoyed this house, it had everything we needed and more. The owner was very responsive. Close to everything! The dolphin watching off the deck was the best. The house could use a full length mirror for the ladies getting ready. Lol. But all, in all it was a great place to stay, very homey.

Perfect Getaway

We stayed March 16-28. Had a wonderful time. Joe is very responsive and communicative. The island is super crowded during March, but we were able to navigate through the traffic jams. We enjoyed sitting on the upper deck and watch the sunrise and then watch the dolphins in the evenings.

Absolutely perfect

This place is nicer than I expected. Very comfortable peaceful home with perfect location. I walked bean point every morning to find whole sand dollars. The dolphins play continuously out front and they came very close to me while paddle boarding. Comfortable beds and the kitchen has everything we needed. We actually never went out to eat. Thank you Joe! .

180 degree view of the water

We were favorably impressed when we entered the house and saw the set up of the house and the amazing view of the water right in front.We enjoyed the morning sunrises from the porch, and frequently walked to nearby Bean point beach to see spectacular sunsets.Joe was a very responsive host, handled everything quickly.He responded to all of our questions within minutes.The house was very comfortable and had everything we needed. We could walk to.several restaurants and others were just a short drive away. We’d love to stay there again!

WONDERFUL

We were booked during tropical stormy Debby. The host kept us updated on the latest weather forecast. We did leave the house for 2 days due to island flooding but the host had a clean up crew there quickly to get us back in quickly. The view from the home was amazing. We watched dolphins and manatees play every day. 5 stars all the way!!!!!!

Great House in Anna Maria

We enjoyed Joe’s place so much! He was so prompt and helpful with communication and any questions we had. The house is old Florida charm, very clean, and great location! Dolphins put on a show daily while we were there. Quiet and peaceful area with great sunrises each day. Would go back again for sure!

A SLICE OF HEAVEN!!

I LOVE IT HERE!! I’ve been to Anna Maria 16 times, and this was the absolute best trip we’ve ever had, and it’s all because of the location of this beach house! First, the location is perfect because it’s near the northern tip of the island and near Bean Point, which is more private than other areas. It’s the perfect place for sitting in the powdery soft white sand, and is the perfect place to watch a the breathtaking sunsets. This house also has the perfect location because it’s only 2 doors down from the Rod & Reel Pier. This makes it perfect for fishing. Additionally, it’s the perfect spot for seeing the sea life (dolphins, manatees, and stingrays). This beach house has the perfect covered porch so you’re not melting in that Florida sun, but can see right down into the crystal clear waters to see all of those sea creatures! (If you’re afraid of those things, you’re still fine, because they stay a safe distance from you, but if you want to see them, you’re close enough for a good picture!) Another bonus to this location is that you can watch the remarkable sunrises right from the porch, or even from the comfort of the couch! Kitchen has everything you need, beds are comfy, 2 bathrooms, but that view is what makes it a slice of heaven for me! I can’t say enough wonderful things about this home. It truly is the only place on the whole island where I want to stay!!

Perfect girls trip

This property is fantastic. It really is a home away from home. It is located on the north end of the island. The closest trolly stop is at the Anna Maria City Pier and quite a walk from the property. I really recommend a car or golf cart if you plan to get out and see the island. Joe was a wonderful host and kept in touch to make sure everything was ok. My only complaint is that the pictures being used to advertise the outside of the home are not up to date. Due to Mother Nature there is no longer a beach as depicted in the photo taken of the house from the Rod and Reel Pier. The pictures need to be updated and or the beach issue be addressed in the description of the property so renters have correct information when making a decision on where to stay. Again thank you Joe for sharing your home with us. We had a wonderful time.

Great views

Loved sitting on the second-floor balcony and watching the various wildlife. Nice quiet area with basically your own beach. We swam every day and felt very safe. Nightly walks to Bean Point to enjoy the sunset. Highly recommended. Thank you, Joe.

Cozy beach vibe perfection!

I can’t say enough about how wonderful this property is!! The house is comfortable, feels like home, and has newer kitchen appliances. The deck has an amazing hammock with a million dollar view at any time. We had multiple dolphins, manatees, manta rays, starfish, and beautiful sunrises to enjoy the entire week. The sandy yard area had beautiful shells. Cozy lounge chairs, umbrellas, cornhole, floating tubes with anchors & a gas grill are just a few of the perfect amenities. Bean Point beach is within a short walking distance, has clear blue water with velvet sand, and is a must for the amazing sunsets. Joe is very hospitable and always only a phone call away if needed. We will definitely return! Best week ever!!
