Lovely cottage with great host! All was wonderful!! very happy with our 17 day vacation!

Had a great time at Poppy's beach paradise for a long weekend with our twin 6-year olds and my parents. We fully enjoyed the beach was right out the door everyday and most beautiful sunsets at night. House was quirky but great for our stay and very comfortable and accommodated everything we needed. The elevator inside and stairs outside made it a little difficult to keep track of my kids, so something to consider for other families. The many decks overlooking the sound were a favorite for all of us - including many sets of binoculars available to use! Debbie the property manager was also amazing - responsive and made sure we knew all the details we needed to have a great stay. Thank you Poppy's!

Check in couldn’t be easier! As soon as you walk in this home you will instantly feel at home! The quaint decor and attention to details are special and welcoming. The kitchen has a cute little stocked coffee bar and hand labeled canisters with tea and hot chocolate! Bed is super comfy and there are window units for hot nights. Bathroom has the essentials including hair products and shower gel. The large backyard is quiet and I enjoyed sitting out and listening to the birds in this quiet neighborhood. The train and ferry are very close as are great restaurants. Port Jefferson is a few minutes down the road and is a great little coastal community with a fun vibe and lots to experience. I highly recommend this rental for a relaxing get away!

House was beautiful and supplied with everything that was needed. Spend 1 month there beach was close and good access. We didn’t need all 3 bedrooms which could properly sleep about 8. Between the neighborhood hills and 3 floors of steps we worked our muscles. Got to know 3 neighbors and all was pleasant.

The pool, the hot tub, and the 4+ bedrooms were the pull for this house. The host was very responsive when needed. A visit from the owner was a bonus.

My husband and I really enjoyed our stay at this very well appointed cottage.
