West Cornwall cottage rentals

First of all what a beautiful welcome to our beautiful vacation! The owner made sure we felt welcome. What a beautiful home. We had kayaks, a paddle board available to us to use at Batam Lake which was about 1/2 block from the house. What a fun time! We had our daughter and her family over and we played corn hole in the back yard which was so comfortable! We also spent a lot of time in the back yard sitting under the weeping willow tree! My favorite time enjoying family in the back yard. We cooked out and also had several meals we cooked in the beautiful kitchen. Everything available that you could possibly need to cook with. The owner checked in with me via text making sure we had everything we needed. This place provided everything you could ever need! We were so happy with this VRBO! Thank you for such a beautiful home for our vacation!

Relaxing stay at the cottage with beautiful views of the river and pond. We enjoyed sitting on the porch, listening to the sounds of nature and taking in the natural beauty of the surroundings. The host were attentive yet respectful of our privacy. We look forward to coming back and making this our annual nature retreat.

We enjoyed our stay at this cozy cottage for a wedding . The place was very clean , the kitchen well- stocked with items for cooking . However we had only ate breakfast and lunch at the cottage . There are restaurants nearby and we enjoyed exploring many of them ! The cottage is close to the Lake and state park. Tanner Hill is great for a morning walk . Jon and Blake are wonderful hosts - we loved meeting both of them ! The cottage does not have wi- fi but Jon provided my husband and I with Ethernet cables and computer adapters that provided fast service for work Zoom calls.

This was the perfect size cottage for 5 of us, with two rooms with queen size beds and one small room with a twin. The setting was very pretty, and the salt water heated pool was a good size and my grandchildren enjoyed swimming in it. We were within walking distance of the small town, and I would recommend staying there.

Very comfortable to stay to relax and unwind. Very clean and everything we needed was provided. Highly recommend place to stay for your Connecticut trip. Excellent hosts!

Tom’s cottage was perfect for a short weekend away with close friends. The property was beautiful with perfect views of the lake and the foliage. The cottage was updated and had ALL the amenities to ensure your stay was exceptional. The pastries and fresh bread and butter were wonderfullly delicious and appreciated. We had an amazing stay! The cottage was cute, very clean and well-stocked. Anne was a lovely host and very helpful. We would definitely recommend staying here.

If I could have given it more than 5 stars I would have. Beautiful, quiet area and the place is stunning. The gas fireplace in the dining area was great, has pretty much everything you could need and incredibly stylish (the retro fridge and microwave were very cool). Can’t speak to the pullout but the king in the master might have been the most comfortable bed I’ve ever slept in and the double shower is awesome. The hosts were friendly and responsive. Went to hike and the number of trails within 30 minutes was great, plus the Cinema 18 minutes away in Great Barrington came in handy on the day of biblical rain. Could not recommend this property more. I will be back.
