  • Perfect place to hang your hat~

"Clean, cozy, well organized and outfitted with everything you could want for a comfortable home away from home. I came to the area to take a landscape painting class though the Scottsdale School of Art, which was held on the Salt River and Sanguaro Lake, making the drive to class each morning about 15 min. We painted all day in the field and coming "home" to Chip and Joelyn's guest quarters was easy. I never did find the need to eat in a restaurant for the 8 days I was here because the kitchen is so well equipped. The BBQ right outside on the covered patio worked great, for meat and grilled veggies. There is even a local market, Bashes, tag on the door key to get the local discounts on groceries. For a hiker, it's a dream location because there is a trail head just a few doors down the road. The bed is comfortable, the room temp and air is in your control, nice big shower, closet with hangers, extra blankets and goodies under the bed in containers, lots of extra's in the kitchen from spices to coffee and tea. One night I came home to find a bowl filled with freshly picked snap peas and herbs by my door. Chip and Joelyn are the perfect hosts, they are available if you need anything but allow you the privacy to just "be"."

  • Great home!

"We had a family wedding in the Phoenix area and stayed at this great vrbo. We had five adults stay at the house and it was the perfect amount of space."

  • SPECTACULAR. Didn't want to leave!

"WOW. I have owned vacation rentals myself, and have stayed in many different VRBO properties across the country, but this was by far the #1 cleanest, most beautiful property ever. The kitchen was fully stocked - even the "nice-to-haves" that I have in my own home. It lacked for NOTHING. Any time I had a question, the property manager responded promptly. The pool was gorgeous. Loved the outdoor firepit area. The bedrooms and bathrooms were SPOTLESS. This is the cleanest rental I've ever had. Spent a week here with family for the Thanksgiving holiday. Hated to leave. That's my one and only complaint. It was spectacular. Even prettier than the photos. And PERFECTLY located - very convenient to everything we wanted to do in the parks or outdoor areas, as well as downtown Phoenix / Scottsdale / bike rides on the canal system, etc. LOVED IT."

  • Perfect Vacation Home

"This house was amazing and even more impressive in person than the pictures show. We had two families traveling together with three children under the age of 7. The backyard was perfect for everyone and even had additional toys/floats for use. There was plenty of room for all us inside and the setup with two bedrooms with attached bathrooms worked perfectly for our two family combination. Cindy was wonderful to work with, she was prompt with replies and went out of her way to make sure we were prepared for our stay and had all needed information. We also left a couple personal items at the house. Once I contacted Cindy, she made sure the items were locked away safely and then went out of her way to get the items shipped back to me securely. Our two families will definitely be staying here again, everyone was more than pleased with the home and we all had a great time."
