You won't regret visiting our bright, clean, comfortable, newly updated family beach house, located on a quiet corner lot one block from the ocean. Enjoy our new carpet, paint and furniture. Truly a home away from home, with TV's in every room and cozy beds. Plenty of parking for small boats and jet skis.
Your vacation begins when you can walk across the street to the beach, down to the Carolina Beach Pier or pack up your SUV and head to the 4 x 4 beach access 3 blocks away.
Enjoy beautiful sunsets while relaxing on our spacious deck and listening to the sounds of the ocean. We provide a charcoal grill which is a must have for all beach vacations. Small pets are welcome and have plenty of room in the fenced in yard.
Relax in our cozy living area equipped with CD player, ceiling fan, magazines, games, kids toys and 36 inch TV and DVD player. The master bedroom suite has a small back deck perfect for reading while taking in the sunset, VCR, ceiling fan, master bathroom, queen bed with extra pillows and sound machine for blissful nights sleep. The two other bedrooms have also been recently redecorated and include TV in each room.
For those of you who are not familiar with the area we are minutes from downtown Wilmington, fine dining, golfing, shopping, historic home tours, museums, movie studio tours, USS North Carolina Battleship. You can take the ferry to Southport or a quick day trip to Myrtle Beach. For those of you who do not want to leave the island, we have boating, fishing, water skiing, kayacking, bicycle rental, paddle boats, parks, hiking rails, marinas, Fort Fisher, NC Aquarium, dining, shopping and Sunday night movies in the park all at your finger tips.

My family and I rented this home for a week over the holiday. This house was what we expected and more! The neighborhood was quiet, not sure if it was because of the time of year, but that was nice. The beach was nice, a lot of surfers, and we fished but didn't catch anything. The area was perfect for our 2 shih tzu's, and the fenced in yard was great. The home itself was clean and comfortable. There were 4 of us and we had plenty of room. I loved the view of the ocean, that was wonderful. I appreciate the owners taking time to answer questions, that makes a difference. My parents didn't want to leave and plan on returning again soon! Would recommend this place to families of all ages! Thanks for helping me have a wonderful holiday with my family!

We loved this home! The location can not be beat and it has every amenity you would expect in your own personal home! The size is great and neighborhood clean and quiet! Our dog loved the yard and kids loved the 'new' toys!! We met other family there and it worked out wonderfully! The pictures do not do this property justice! We plan to return in the spring and are looking very forward to it! Thanks for sharing your home with us!

This house suited our needs perfectly. Our daughters met us here with their husbands, and there was plenty of living space and parking space at the house. The open floor plan of the living/dining/kitchen area with the sliding glass door to the deck provided a spacious area, and we never felt crowded at the house. The kitchen was well equipped, the master bedroom was very large with a private bath, and the second bathroom was large also. The high ceilings and windows gave a light, airy feel to the rooms. We loved the location on the north end. It was quiet, the beach was not crowded, and we were a short block to the beach, and a two block walk to the fishing pier. There was no charge to walk out on the pier, and there was a bar and a snack bar there. We enjoyed the Aquarium at Fort Fisher, the ferry to Southport, an afternoon in Wilmington, walking the trails at the state park, dinner at Fish Bites, shellfish at Shuck n Shack, bingo at the Boardwalk, fireworks on Thursday night. We rented bicycles and rode to the lake, to Britts for doughnuts, and around town. Just a note: there is a marked bike path, but all of a sudden it stops, and you have to share the road with cars. We found a local city park with nice tennis courts, and a skate park, too. We thought the boardwalk area had a little "seedy carnival" atmosphere, and did not spend much time there, so that is why we especially liked the north end. It seemed as if most of the rentals here are condo units, so we were glad to find a house. All in all, a great time!

Great location, the decks are beautiful and spacious. Close to the beach and plenty of parking. Quiet area for morning and evening walks. The fenced yard was perfect for our two dogs. Plenty of room for sleeping and lounging around. Wireless internet made finding local attractions and food easy. We highly recommended this if you are looking for a place to relax.

This past summer my family spent a week at the rental property and enjoyed it very much. Everything was just what we were looking for. My daughter was able to take her 2 well behaved dalmations who enjoyed the big back yard. I have no complaints and hope we can schedule again in 2008. Thank you again.

We stayed aug. 11-18 of this year. It was the best vacation that we have had so far. Nice clean house. It was a very quiet neighborhood. The beach was steps away from the house and Just a short drive to the board walk. We all had a great time!!!!!!! VERY CLEAN AND WELL KEPT HOUSE!
