Owner's Profile
Owner Description
Year Purchased: 2004
Owners are design professionals and owners of several high-end cottages. They enjoy travel around the globe and have decades of cottage & villa rental experience. "We arrange villa's when we travel to Europe as this gives us a better experience for the areas we visit, and it has provided us the experience to deliver high quality destinations like our Whitestone cottage. We've built this place to ensure it meets standards we expect.
Why the Owner Chose Muskoka
This lake is absolutely one of the best in North Ontario. And we've been to a hundred plus. It's close enough to Toronto to be a simple drive, yet far enough away from the super busy lakes that just destroy the quiet you come up north for. Plus, it has loads of crown land so it can be private during your fishing trip, canoe trip or travels.
This location has several rivers which you can paddle down and not see anyone for days. Two rivers actually go all the way to Georgian Bay!
We love this cottage as there is a rocky area with deeper water for our boat plus a walk-in beach which is shared with the cottage next door.
The Unique Benefits of this Cottage
The sun sets right out front, there is a great resort to visit for dinners (and golf) on the lake and the fishing is great. What more could we ask for?

What a relaxing time and the place was so nice. We use the canoe and the kids enjoyed paddling about in the small paddle boat. The fishing boat was good to have and we bought some bait just in the small town nearby and we were able to take it to the restaurant on the lake several times. Some side trips to Parry Sound and Magnetawan were also fun. Glad we found your place. Would definitely come back if we visited the region again, but most certainly we will tell others how beautiful your place is.
