Lovely, bright and very peaceful penthouse apartment (900 square feet) with incredible views 360 degrees around the main monuments, Duomo's dome, the Palazzo Vecchio, Orsanmichele, and even distant San Miniato and Forte BELVEDERE! The apartment is furnished with style and good taste. There are terracotta floors and high beamed ceilings. There are two bathrooms, only one bedroom has lower roof (2,5 meters--8 feet-high--instead of 5 meters), but it is large and adorable, offering nice view over Giotto Belltower. The other one has en-suite bathroom and great view of Duomo Cathedral;it is located next to the large living room which has a terrace with incredible views over the roofs and over the beautiful hills-sun will shine in the terrace from 9/10 o'clock onwards, making the living area (with 4 large windows) very bright.
In the terrace you have seating and table
It is on the top floor of an elegant palace just behind the Duomo. There is also ELEVATOR so you do not have to worry about carrying
luggage up the stairs. No window facing street--all facing monuments or peaceful court-yard.

I stayed there with my parents (aged 70) for one week in September 2008. The apartment was very clean and you cannot beat the location. The apartment has a small terrace with some views. Behind the apartment is a small church that has nightly concerts for free. We always stopped in after dinner. Would definitely stay again!
Recommended for:Girls getaway, families with teenagers, age 55+, tourists without a car, sightseeing, families with young children.

The location was perfect and close to the sights. It was a quiet place,with the sound of lovely church bells each day. Beds were comfortable and a clean apartment.We would consider staying there again.
