Events of September 11th and United's bankruptcy caused me to take an early retirement from United Airlines' Paris base so my wonderful Paris apartment is now available for YOU to enjoy while I'm in San Diego and I now offer unlimited calling to the USA and Canada and throughout Western Europe and France for FREE. Wireless internet, also.

This one-bedroom apartment has the privacy of two bedrooms. Living room door closes and occupants of each room have access to toilet, bathroom, and kitchen without disturbing the other; important when you first arrive and jet-lag makes for irregular sleeping hours. Twin beds in bedroom can be pushed together to make a king-size bed. Very comfortable double-size, fold-down couch in living room. Bathroom has big soaking tub and both fixed and hand-held shower heads, and a washer/dryer for light loads of laundry.

Fifth floor apartment with elevator big enough for several people and their luggage! All-glass living room wall opens wide onto private balcony overlooking center gardens (please water my flowers!). No city noise. Light and sunny. View of lovely Victorian buildings. Loads of closet space (rare in Paris) to keep apartment orderly.

Everything you need to cook your own gourmet meals. Go French and get fresh food at nearby Poncelet, one of the largest daily outdoor markets in Paris, or if you prefer a US-style grocery store (with peanut butter, cereal, etc.) Galleries Gourmand is also nearby.

Convenient location. Walk five minutes to Arc de Triomphe Metro station where metro lines #1, #2, #6, and the RER-A and C will whisk you quickly to anywhere in the city. Most of the important streets of Paris radiate out from the Arc de Triomphe. Also walk to the Air France bus which goes nonstop to the airport every 15 minutes. Excellent neighborhood, prestige apartment building located on upscale Ave des Ternes, close to lots of shops, bakeries, and restaurants.

  • All of Paris is at your feet, Five to ten minutes walk to Arc de Triomphe, the world-famous Boulevard Champs Elysees and Paris's Largest Park, the Bois de Boulogne, for Rowing, Bicycling, Walking, or Jogging, Walk 15 min to Eiffel Tower or take metro two stops (4 min), 4 metro/RER stations with lines 1, 2, 6 and RER A and C within 4 blocks, Air France bus goes non-stop to/from CDG every 10-15 minutes and only 4 blocks away, Opera House Garnier is a 2 minute ride on RER A, Versailles is an easy trip on RER C

  • This was our 4th trip to Paris. Had previously stayed in hotels but decided to try a flat. Glad we did. The apartment was exactly as presented on-line. Nice, safe, secure location. Nothing glamorous, but comfortable. A good value. Many restaurants, shops, etc nearby. Short walk to metro. Very convenient to get to/from CDG airport due to AirFrance bus. Would stay again.

  • Nancy...we had a great 4 days staying in your apartment. One of the things we enjoyed most was the fact the apartment gives you the feel of a real Paris neighborhood.   • We spent a week in Paris and loved the apartment. It was a great location. Within a 5 minute walk of two metro stops. There was a great little Italian Restaurant just to the left as you come out the front door. A nice market was about a block away. We would stay here again without hesitation.

  • We just returned from spending a 10 day Christmas Holiday at Nancy's apt. The area is absolutely fantastic for shopping and eating, esp the open air market across the street and the bakery nearby. We were totally content to come "home" every night after sightseeing to our quiet, pleasant, fully furnished apt. It was an ideal arrangement for three adults. I would come back to this place anytime. Nancy made our trip almost effortless with all her suggestions.

  • My husband and I stayed in the apartment for 6 days. Because this apartment is so comfortable and cozy, we ended up sleeping the first 3 days until 2 o'clock in the afternoon. This is an apartment that you can totally relax in. Nancy has provided everything that you need. Everything was labeled so that no mistakes could be made, instructions on how to operate everything, and advice as where to shop. Being able to call back home was an added bonus.Best of all the apartment is in a wonderful area. There were so many wonderful shops and it was close to the Arc de Triomphe. The only thing that disappointed me was that the washer/dryer combo did not dry clothes well and we needed to hang the wet clothes on the fold-out drying rack. This is a great apartment to rent because Nancy has thought of everything to make a stay at this apartment stress free.

  • We stayed at the apartment for a week with our 2 children, we had a great time. The apartment is in an awesome location close to the bus/metro and major sites. The best part though was all the help and hints Nancy provided us before or stay! Also as a plus, the apartment comes equipped with all you need to make you feel like home, and unlike other France lodging, you will actually have enough hot water to take 4 showers in a row. Thanks for making our vacation even more pleasant.

  • Browsing through the other comments, there isn't much new I can say, other than we had a lovely four nights in the Paris apt. Breakfast in, before going out for the day was our pattern. We felt very safe, and had no problems even though neither of us speak french. Nancy also suggested a nice hotel nearby to spend a couple of extra nights, as the apt. was booked for part of the time we were to be in Paris. We appreciated being able to rent for part of a week, also, as well as all the help Nancy provides. The apt. was very comfortable, and more of a "home" which we enjoyed after long days of enjoying the city.

  • We had the best time in Paris and staying in the apartment was the perfect compliment to long days of sight-seeing. We agree with all the nice comments about the apartment. For us, the convience of the market and the grocery stores were great. We had the best time shopping and then fixing our meals. As a family of Vegan's, it can be challenging to eat healthy when traveling. I have already recommended this apartment to my friends.
