Renovated large apartment overlooking the beautiful Russian Orthodox church.
This building is located near the Arc de Triomphe in the upscale and coveted 8th District (Arrondissement). Avenue Beaucour is a pedestrian dead end street, very quiet and safe even at night. You are less than 10 minutes walk to the Champs Élysées and because this area is such a big hub for metros, you can go pretty much anywhere in Paris in less than 15-20 minutes.
The apartment is located on the fourth floor of this 19th century building (with elevator) and is overlooking the gardens and golden domes of the Russian orthodox church (but don’t worry, they only ring once at 10am!). No cars are allowed on the street so it is very quiet - A peaceful retreat in one of the busiest and most prestigious areas of Paris.
The apartment has all the charm of the 19th century Parisian apartments with high molded ceilings and walls, hardwood floors throughout, a marble fireplace, iron work on the balcony, bow windows – all this with the comfort and modernity of new appliances and modern furnishing.
BEDROOMS:
There is a Master bedroom with a Queen-size bed for two adults. The second bedroom has separate twin beds which can be pushed together to form one large King-size bed, (includes a top mattress when formed together). There is a quality double sofa-sleeper in the living room, that can sleep two adults comfortably as well. A total of 6 adults can occupy this large apartment, with its 66m2 (730 sq feet).
BATHROOMS:
The apartment has two bathrooms. The large one for the Master bedroom has a tub and hand-held shower, plus sink (no WC). The smaller bathroom has a walk-in shower, sink and WC.
KITCHEN:
The apartment’s kitchen has all new cabinets, new appliances and includes, a dishwasher, combination oven and microwave, stove top with electric burners, coffee machine and toaster. There is a combination washer/dryer unit in the apartment. There is both a dining table for six people as well as a bar-counter.
The location is perfect for all.
The Food & Wine lovers will walk to the best gourmet shops in Paris (Dalloyau, Taillevant, Hediard) and will spend hours cruising the most quintessentially Parisian market in the nearby Rue Poncelet. The rue Poncelet market is particularly inviting as it has a combination of fruit, vegetables and produce stalls lined up alongside some of the best food stores in the city. Even in the windy cold of November these little shops open their fronts to the streets in a symphony of color, sound and aromas. Sample the best assortment of French cheeses at Fromagerie des Gourmets at 7, rue Poncelet or some excellent and typical French baguette at PAUL bread shops. It is a unique experience!
The Classical Music addicts will just die to be literally two steps away from the city’s main concert Hall - Salle Pleyel – which reopened after its most radical renovation to date, a $36 million makeover that involved gutting and redesigning its main auditorium. You actually can see the back of the building from the living room and – if you are lucky – on a summer evening may hear pianists practicing. And in the summer, why not just walk to the Parc Monceau and attend its annual Chopin Festival?
The Joggers and nature lovers will not believe they are so close (300 feet) to the Parc Monceau. Known as one of the most attractive parks in Paris, Park Monceau, the brainchild of the Duke of Orleans in the 18th century, has become a favorite resting place for those looking for some peace and quiet away from the busy city. Stroll among its pretty flower gardens and interesting array of statues, relax along its little ponds, grottos and waterfall or jog in its alleys. This is just one of the most romantic places in Paris at you door steps.
The Architecture and History maniacs will wake up to the stunning view of the Cathédrale St-Alexandre-Nevsky, probably the most beautiful Russian church in France. The style is Byzantine-moscovite, with bulb-like pinnacle domes, a gilded ball and a cross at each apex. Enjoy a sunny lunch on the living room balcony overlooking the church gardens or just admire the view from your bed through the bedroom windows. The bells only ring once at 10am in the morning so you’ll just enjoy the peaceful view.
The fashion victims will not resist the luxury fashion shops going down on Faubourg St Honoré towards the presidential palace (Élysées). From Chanel to Hermes and more, just walk them all!

The Unique Benefits at this Apartment
I thing the best asset of the apartment really is its location which is So convenient. you can go pretty much anywhere in Paris in less than 15-20 minutes. you can walk to many many places and there always seem to be a direct bus or direct metro line. I also enjoy the fact that the aera is so safe even at night. I often walk back home very late without fearing to be annoyed by anyone. An of course, because it is my second home, I have payed a lot of attention to the decoration so it is unlike any other rental place. more of a real home really !

This aparment is a real treasure, it is as lovely as the photos show it to be and in a great area of Paris so close to many attractions. We loved the finer touches like the guide books provided, tea and coffee in the cupboards on arrival, and very good manual with suggestions, instructions and information - all very helpful. The apartment is beautifully appointed with comfortable and tastful furnishings, linen and finishes. It is a great old building and has a fantastic veiw of the church from the balcony window. It is spotlessly clean, all the appliances work well and great to have computer provided. A place you kind of want to keep secret, but too nice not to tell others about!
Recommended for:Families with young children, families with teenagers, girls getaway.
Loved being a "local" for a week!

Convenience, comfort and cachet...three of the many reasons my husband and I loved our recent week in this beautiful apartment. The nearby Parc Monceau provided a place to walk each morning before breakfast; the nearby Etoile Metro station allowed us to get everywhere we wanted to go with minimal effort. We loved the chic furnishings and the petite balcony where we had breakfast in the shadow of the Russian church. Two of the best reasons are just around the corner: the Salle Pleyel concert hall where we caught Beethoven's Eroica Symphony; and the Rue Poncelet market, where we shopped and stocked up on gourmet-to-go feasts.
Recommended for:Tourists without a car, romantic getaway, adventure seekers, families with teenagers, sightseeing, age 55+, girls getaway.
