Great beachfront condo

We stayed in the condo for about 6 weeks. It is a cozy condo with a great view of the ocean. The owner could not be easier to deal with - friendly, accommodating and prompt communication. If you are looking for an easy, hassle-free experience, this is an ideal spot for you. This stretch of Jax Beach is great as well, you are within walking distance of the Jax Pier, as well as stores, coffee shops and restaurants on 3rd. St. Overall a great experience, and great value.

Recommended for:Pet owners.

Very disappointed vacation

If you are going here, you need to check out the following: Unit says cable/statellite, however you can't get any sports channels at all. The TV's aren't programmed and we had to deal with COMCAST directly for more than 3 hrs on 3 occasions. I'm handicapped and didn't know that the unit is on the 5th floor. The morning sun blares in on you and the verticals don't have a draw string to close them. When pulled several of the verticals fall off. This is the only unit in the complex that doesn't have a lanai screen. The owner means well, but is out of state. The beach was not available to anyone for 3 days b/c of beach replenishment and tractors running 24/7. We left 3 days early and requested a refund and was denied. The A/C ran constantly and when I checked, the filter had not been changed in several months and the coils were starting to freeze........it was a fire hazard. The only thing we can say is that it is close to the beach and has a nice pool. I would not recommend this place to others.

Owner response:Very sorry this guest was disappointed. I was on the phone with Comcast for multiple times while he stayed at the condo. Unfortunately I can't control Comcast and their service. There have been no issues with the cable before or since his stay. I also have had no issues with the TVs being programmed. I will also add that we have over 50 channels. This guest never mentioned to me that he was handicapped before his stay. Regardless there is an elevator in our complex. You can see from comments below that the we are accommodating to handicapped guests. We have many patients from The Mayo Clinic stay at the condo. He also stated we lived out of state. We are in Georgia but only an hour and 15 minutes from the condo. Unfortunately I have no idea when work will be done on the beach - it has never been an issue in the past. A section of the beach was closed not the entire beach. When we went to repair the verticals 2 days after his early leave and there were no tractors on the beach. I am sorry about AC filter and the lack of a screen on the sliding glass door and let him know how sorry I was. This guest was not refunded because I have no control over the county's beach repair and it was his choice to leave early. He called me complaining several times from the moment he walked in the door up until the morning he called me to listen to tractors on the beach. He then sent several e mails threatening to sue me if I didn't send him a refund (some threats were for a partial refund and others were for a full refund). His last e mail informed me that he wouldn't be filing a law suit since a lawyer informed him he had no grounds. It is unfortunate that he couldn't enjoy his time there as others have. It's certainly true that some people cant be pleased.

Beautiful condo with an excellent location

We stayed here in April 2011. The condo was perfect, it was exactly what we were hoping for. The view is amazing, the pictures don't do it justice, and the condo is very well appointed. The location is perfect, close to everything but just far enough so that the noise doesn't bother you. I have 2 kids that had a blast going between the beach and the pool for sand and swimming. If you're looking for a great condo, in a perfect location, for a relaxing vacation it would be hard to beat this condo. We would definitely stay here again.

Nice Get Away

I was there a little over a week during Memorial Day week in 2009. It was a nice get away. We brought our 9-month-old yellow lab and she loved playing in the ocean for the first time. Every morning we ate breakfast on the balcony while our lab watched people on the beach. We would definitely stay again. The place was clean and up to date. The owner was very sweet and responsive whenever we had questions. It was perfect!

AWESOME GETAWAY

The condo far exceeded the description and photos. The condo was clean, spacious and awesome. The view was incredible even when it rained on our last night . A perfect place to relax and enjoy with no worries. I will definately let my friends and family know of your place. I lost my son in April of this year and this was the first time I had been able to have some time to me and I couldn't have chosen a better place.

Nice Place Great View

We came in the week before Easter to the condo. It is a quiet building, nice pool and awesome views!. Nicely furnished and updated. The owners are very nice to work with they even removed the coffee table and sent me doorway measurements so I could get my wheelchair around better. We brought 2 teens and 2 small dogs and we all had room! Close to Shopping and to Mayo which is what I was there for. I have a large wheelchair and it made it through almost all the rooms. It didnt do the bathroom but a reg size chair might. The neighborhood is very quiet. Would go back again..
