Why the Owner Chose Philipsburg
Buying a beachfront property in the Caribbean has been a dream of mine for decades, to escape the Canadian winter conditions in my home city. After visiting a number of islands, I chose St. Maarten/St. Martin for its both its physical beauty and culture, offering a vast array of options for dining and nightlife, world-class shopping, or more peaceful activities like strolling secluded beaches. My only regret is that I didn't do it sooner!
The Unique Benefits of this Townhome
Our small and intimate gated property consists of 12 villas, one of which is occupied by our property manager, Frank Ferenz and his wife Sandy. Having Frank and Sandy on-site is incredibly convenient, and guests never fail to comment on what a asset they both are. Shopping, dining and activities in Philipsburg are all within walking distance, or Frank can arrange for a car rental for going further afield. Our neighbourhood is quiet at night, so that you can hear the sound of the waves on the beach, but dining and entertainment are accessible by foot or by car.

My favorite hideaway. I really enjoy staying at this Villa. Conveniently located a 5 minute walk from the centre of Philipsburg. Breathtaking view of Great Bay and the ability to do my own cooking, if I choose. With so many amazing restaurants on the island, why stay at an all-inclusive? This Villa has all the amenities and a corner store within walking distance. Beautifully furnished, very clean. bathrooms for each bedroom (2) and a guest bathroom downstairs. Perfect for us, especially when 4 women have to get ready for a night on the town. Wonderful people at the Villa and Josh the property manager is the greatest. Even had drinks ready for us when we arrived. We have rented at the Villas for 3 years now. Little piece of heaven.
