If you want to stay in a 4 star resort, but don't want to pay resort pricing, this unit may be just for you. This property is located at the Kauai Beach Resort which is operated by a Major Resort Franchise. The resort underwent recent $18,000,000 renovation which is reflected in the luxurious upgrades and amenities onsite. Our 3rd floor room overlooks the pools and grotto's with lush tropical landscaping and waterfalls. The unit also has a view of the turquoise waters of ocean beyond.
The Kauai Beach Resort amenities include four refreshing pools, one with a sandy bottom and water slide. There are also two large hot tubs surrounded by waterfalls and tropical plants to relax in after a day of visiting the island's attractions. If a day at the pool or beach gives you an appetite, you can dine at the casual pool-side restaurant and bar - no shirt or shoes required. The resort also has two other fine dining restaurants, a day spa, fitness center, 24-hour business center, laundry room and even nightly entertainment. There is also valet parking (if desired) and many other perks and amenities that make this property a luxury destination.
The room is decorated in tropical colors and has been appointed with many upscale amenites. Fall into a deep relaxing sleep on the luxurious king bed with serenity mattress complete with down comfortor and pillows. You can relax with a good book on the tropical chase lounge as listen to the sounds of the tropical birds and cascading waterfalls. You will also find a mini-fridge and safe for your convenience, premium television channels and pay-per view movies, a desk with an ergonomic office chair and Internet access which is available for an additional fee (or complimentary service in the lobby). The bathroom features a granite vanity, traveritne tile, and curved shower rod. The room also comes complete with a very private lanai with a dining set for two.
The Kauai Beach Resort is located off the the Kuhio Highway just four miles north of the Lihue Airport. Free shuttle service is provided by the resort.
This is a perfect destination for first time visitors to Kauai who want to see the entire island because of its central location or if you just want to relax and enjoy the beauty of the island, you can do it without ever leaving the resort. The KBR is located on an amazing 3 mile stretch of unspoiled and uncrowded beach, the longest on the island. At night you can stroll the lush grounds complete with Tiki torches to add a romantic finish to a perfect day in paradise.
Rate options include daily maid service or you can elect to have only a departure cleaning. Either way, you have access to all of the amenities that this fabulous resort has to offer.

My husband and I enjoyed our stay immensely at the Kauai Beach Resort on Kauai. Everything was just as one would want, beautiful room, spotlessly clean, great location, all amenities as advertised, including the wonderful king size bed with down comforter. Thank you Kathy for suggesting this to us. We would not hesitate to recommend this property to anyone we know, including ourselves, should we be lucky enough to travel back to Kauai. We drove to the end of the road up north, and every place in between. I can't recall the names of the places but it was all awesome. We didn't get to the west side because our stay was short, but there is always a next time.Recommended for: Adventure seekers, age 55+, romantic getaway, sightseeing.

This was my first visit to Kauai and this resort was fabulous!! A beautiful, clean suite with such a breathtaking view to wake up to. Wonderful, friendly staff, and all amenities at the resort makes for a enjoyable stay right on the beach. The perfect location to see the island of Kauai, makes sightseeing a breeze. My wife and I stayed here on a recent vacation and loved everything about it. I didn't expect much based on the pictures but wow were we surprised. The resort and room were beautiful! The staff was friendly, plenty of parking, close to activities, airport, and restaurants. I highly recommend this place to anyone looking for a luxury resort experience at a Holiday Inn price. I plan on returning to Kauai in the future and will definitely stay again. Room was just as I expected. We stayed for 11 days and because it was cheaper than renting from the hotel I saved over $500. The savings made the minor inconveniences worth it. Hotel grounds were well kept and we loved the pool area. The hotel was a great midway point to see all the Island. Would not hesitate to stay here again. Very please with room for the price.Recommended for: Adventure seekers, tourists without a car, romantic getaway, families with teenagers, families with young children, sightseeing.

My wife and I stayed here for the first week of our honeymoon. The ocean view is great. Watching the sunrise was awesome. It is only a 10 minute drive from the airport. The staff was very friendly and accommodating. We did yoga with Marco on Wednesday and Friday overlooking the ocean (just like on TV). There is a fee or parking and internet. We found the concierge to be helpful but we were able to find better deals online (just use them for advice, not for booking). We absolutely loved the location and would most definitely return!Recommended for: Romantic getaway, sightseeing.

My wife and I had a Great time at this Property. The location of the unit is central to exploring the whole island and is away from road noise. The accommodations were great and even better than expected. The room was very clean and nicely appointed. The view from the Lanai was super. The owner was extremely helpful and we would recommend this property in a heart beat to our friends. The unit is located at Kauai Beach Resort which has fantastic amenities; swimming pools, water slides and great restaurant(s). The Hotel staff was very attentive. We will certainly be coming back!Recommended for: Age 55+, families with teenagers, families with young children, sightseeing.
