Great for girls' getaway

We happened upon this lovely home when our previously selected site turned out to be a disaster. Holly greeted us with the woodstove burning and a smile. The house was light and bright and perfect for a girls' getaway to chat and make jewelry. When we lost electricity due to a storm Holly came to the rescue with candles and oil lamps. Great place. We hiked on a wonderful trail nearby on the Avenue of the Giants.

Review #4791028 beeds4fun My husband and I recently stayed at the Vacation House in The Redwoods for three nights. The place is conveniently located directly off Avenue of The Giants. The forest is right there for you to enjoy. There is hiking nearby as well as Redwood groves to explore. The Kreb family has a wonderful bounty of vegetables and flowers, in their garden, for you to enjoy. The hot tub was wonderful to relax in (day or night). The kitchen and home have everything you would have at your own cabin in the woods ( a full bath, board games, books, a television to view movies, and a media player to hook up your i-pod to). You can enjoy with family and friends or alone. The place is quiet and cozy. There is a thermometer that gives you the exterior, interior temperature as well as the relative humidity and time. There are a washer and dryer for you to wash any dirty clothing during your stay so you can pack light if you are staying for an extended period of time. It even has a badmitten net set up in the backyard for your enjoyment.

Very nice property. My kids loved the fruit trees, and having room to run. The home was very clean and well kept. The host were the best I had ever had. My truck broke down while there, and they went out of their way to help me get it up and running again.
