This stunning apartment in Paris can sleep up to five people and has an incredible bonus, a balcony with full-on view of the Eiffel tower, making it an unforgettable, romantic choice for your stay in the City of Light. It was even featured as one of the most romantic apartments in the World on The Fine Living Channel's Program: Around the World in 80 Homes.

Our apartment is located on the Left Bank, just four blocks from the Seine River and one block from the Eiffel Tower. It is close to major landmarks and monuments, walking distance to the Musee d'Orsay, Invalides, Bateaux Mouche boat tours of Paris and across the street from the Eiffel Tower.
You are five blocks to one of the largest open markets in Paris; three blocks to the legendary rue Cler Open Food Market. It is surrounded by cafes, shops, markets, and restaurants, a wonderful base from which to discover the delights of Paris. Excellent transportation near the apartment: Ecole Militaire metro is four blocks, local train to Versailles is four blocks, three major bus lines are a half block away.

Enter on the fifth floor (sixth floor American, with elevator) to a small entryway, antique chest, and closet. The living room is to the left, spiral staircase leading to the sixth floor straight ahead; powder room/water closet are immediately to left of front door. There are ample closets for coats and baggage in our Paris rental apartment.

The living room is spacious and designer-furnished in yellows, oak parquet floors, cream-colored walls, and a white antique fireplace. There are two, large sofas upholstered in yellows, beautiful antique mirror, and large coffee table. One of the sofa's easily converts to make a full twin bed at night...easy and comfortable.

TV, VCR, and stereo are located in the cupboards next to fireplace. The DVD player is adapted for American movies, so bring your own favorite films and favorite music. The living room is cheerful and extremely comfortable for relaxing at the end of a long day of sightseeing or shopping. There is a free wireless ADSL line for your computer. We have also installed a security safe for your valuables.

Two sets of French doors lead from the living room to the balcony where guests find an unobstructed view of the Eiffel Tower to the left and city life below. A round, marble, bistro table and chairs sit on the balcony for you to enjoy croissants and café au lait, or toast the sunset in the evening.

Guests love to stand on the balcony and watch Parisian life unfold below, as they go to work, take their children to school, buy their baguettes, and meet friends to have a coffee or meal at the local café. The view means a lifetime of memories.

The dining room and kitchen area are separated from the living room by a small bar; dining table can seat eight. The kitchen is fitted with all appliances: refrigerator/freezer, microwave, oven, dishwasher, toaster, etc. With a full array of cookware, you can shop the local market and prepare your own gourmet meals.

A circular, glass brick wall surrounds the spiral staircase leading upstairs to two bedrooms and two full bathrooms. The guest bath is at the top of the stairs: it has been completely remodeled with full fixed shower, sink, washer, and dryer. It is tiled in beige French limestone.

A separate toilet is located on sixth-floor landing, similar to the fifth floor.

The master bedroom is decorated in beige and has a dual king-size bed and ample closets. Two rows of closets lead directly to the en suite bathroom. It was just remodeled in white marble with a contemporary feel. There is a full-sized bathtub, separate fixed shower, and double sinks.

From the bedroom look left to see the Eiffel Tower. This is one of the top floors of a Parisian building, so you look over the rooftops of the quartier, straight ahead.

All windows and French doors in our Paris apartment rental are new and provide excellent sound and thermal insulation.

The second bedroom is decorated in beige and pale blue and has comfortable single beds. An antique, mahogany dresser and large closet provide ample storage. There are Eiffel views from each bedroom!

Thank you for deposit refund; it arrived before we returned home! Our stay in your apartment was superb....Mom and I had the most wonderful week in Paris, and your help and support made it special. The apartment is truly beautiful, and your team were marvellous. Sincere thanks to you both. We will strongly recommend you to all.
Kind Regards

'I have rented apartments in Paris fourteen times in the last 18 years. I recently returned from a ten day trip where I stayed at this apartmet with my sister and two women friends.

This is the finest apartment in which I have EVER stayed in Paris. The facilities are wonderful -- the two w.c.s made having four women much easier. The two showers insured that everyone was on time for various adventures and the soaking tub made for exquisite late afternoon respites!

Furniture is quite lovely; all facilities easy to use. I am a cook and, I was impressed with the facilities in the kitchen. The espresso machine was GREAT. The location is great. Near the Champs de Mars and Eiffel Tower; great for morning walks. Good bus lines that take you to Bastille or the Opera via Madeleine. Close to Ecole Militaire, a good subway stop, and a quick walk to Pont de l'Alma, the nearest RER. We loved sitting on the balcony and writing in journals or painting the scenes below. We had a fabulous experience, and will definitely return!'

Why the Owner Chose Paris Arrondissement 7

We tried many Paris neighborhoods over the years and living in an apartment in the 7th arrondissement in Paris offered the best access to everything we love and enjoy! Step outside and enjoy café’ au lait on rue Cler on a sunny morning, stroll to Paris landmarks, museums and monuments, to world class shopping on the Right Bank, to the Orsay Museum, the Louvre, Rodin Museum, Eiffel Tower, the Arc de Triomphe, Grand Palais, American Library. Take morning walks, picnics & bike rides in the Champs de Mars gardens, to romantic walks home along the river at sunset. It’s a beautiful old quartier near the romantic Seine that has maintained a village-like atmosphere, surrounded by bistros and shops so you can step outside and savor life. It's one of the safest arrondissements in Paris; it offers more open air markets than any arrondissement in Paris. It costs more to invest in the 7th, but to us, it is worth every penny. We greet our butcher, baker and local cheese specialist daily. They know what our favorite cheeses are and make favorite suggestions. They know the exact kind of baguette we want each day, not too brown and crusty for soft cheese. That is what we have been lucky enough to find in our neighborhood and we hope you’ll have a chance to enjoy the same special lifestyle.

Owner's Map of Paris Arrondissement 7

I was an American banker in London and met my husband Philippe, who was a cardiac surgeon in Paris. We bought our first apartment in Paris, our friends and family loved staying there for the fantastic location and views -- walking distance to cafe's, landmarks and wonderful shops. They loved the experience of living like a Parisian, shopping in the nearby open air markets for the freshest foods, buying warm baguettes next door, enjoying cafe' au lait on the balcony, eating at affordable brasseries and restaurants that Parisians go to around the corner. They asked if they could rent our pied a' terre when we were away and our Paris apartment rentals business, www.Parisperfect.com, began! Philippe left medicine for business and we commute between London and Paris on the Eurostar and have two great children who are French and American citizens... and who always correct my French grammar!

    • This was such a special family get together for all of us. We needed a good sized place and we wanted views and a good location. Well, we got it all!! Our family so enjoyed the apartment. It was heavenly, in every way. We have so many fun thoughts of times and moments spent there in sharing the views of the Eiffel Tower together. What a great time. We enjoyed the markets..we bought more than we could eat..but..we tried! We also enjoyed the many great restaurants. We walked and we walked some more. We saw all the major tourist sights and then we just wandered around the area and found so many charming little spots here and there. Just take the time with nothing in mind and you will find so much. Thank you Paris Perfect for all your wonderful help in choosing the right apartment and helping us along the way. Sue 9/2008

    • We stayed in this wonderful apartment. We are a family of 4. It couldn't have suited us better. Our children loved the balcony, the wonderful views..just everything about it! The information sent to us prior to arrival was so very helpful. We did a lot of pre planning with it. Our arrival and meeting the greeter at the apt. went perfectly. She went through everything with us so we understood it all before she left. We knew we could call at any time. A very nice welcome basket was waiting for us. How very thoughtful. We found the location to be great for the children. They enjoyed the Parc Champ du Mars with the Eiffel Tower. They explored everything! We felt that it was a very safe neighborhood to be in. We walked along the Seine, wandered all the little byways and came to know special little favorite spots. It was all great fun. We at out and we ate in. We enjoyed the markets and buying so many wonderful fresh items. It was fun listening to some of the locals doing some bargaining. The children enjoyed stopping at some of the outside restaurants for a light something and just watching the people. We can't thank all from Paris Perfect enough for making this such a great family trip. The Hazlett family...
