The neighborhood was wonderful quiet and safe! The pool a great bonus. The owner was very responsive with all my inital questions and my concerns during our trip. The house was roomy the master suite was HUGE and was almost like another apartment. The kitchen is on the top floor with another large room that is nicely decorated. There is a shared bathroom that connects this bedroom with the kitchen (privacy was an issue) and this bathroom is large with 2 sinks. The house overall needed lots of maintenance (which I addressed with the owner and he was very apologetic and kind). Some of the issues were: ripped screens, broken fridge shelf/ice maker, broken blinds, broken doors (both closet, bathroom and sliding glass), glass tables (very unstable missing screws) etc. Due to these issues and more (much more!) I wouldn't suggest this house for a family with small children. The walk to the beach is very short and the beach is quiet and very clean. Overall a great vacation although we felt for the price we paid it could have been better maintained.

Owner response: During the high seasons the house is rented back to back and some of the items may get missed during the inspection. These are all minor and normal ware and tare issues like missing screw and closet doors were off the track (just for one of the closets) and one of the windows blind was inoperable and the ice maker was producing ice slowly. I have sent the service person to fix all of these issues and all of the issues have been addressed. I was only notifies of these issues by the tenant after they had left the house. I provide a phone # to the renters for any issues or questions during their stay and some one is available 7 days a week including myself. My rates are low and all inclusive. It includes rent, linins, towels, and the cleaning. We want our guests to enjoy their stay and we do our best to provide a clean, safe and beautiful home.

Recommended for:Girls getaway, families with teenagers.

A great week away with family and grandparents

All in all a great place to stay. The owner was very friendly and accomidating. The master suit was enormous. The screened in porch and second level deck offer great ocean views. Modern decoration, a minute walk from the ocean, and very close proximity to town/nightlife, this place has it all. I would not hesitate to stay here again.

Recommended for:Romantic getaway, girls getaway, families with young children, families with teenagers.

Good Location, but House Needs Repair

We were a little disappointed with the quality of this house. The biggest concern was the master bedroom that was on the front of the house and didn't have any privacy due to lots of missing blinds. There was also no grill (as listed) or can opener. In addition, the internet access was limited at best. However, it was in a great location and convenient to the beach.

Owner response:The condition and the quality of the house are great. Built in 2004 and with all new furniture appliances, bedding and etc (the whole house was furnished less than 9 months ago). He is right about the porch door blends, there were 3 blends broken from the previous renter that I found out from this renter. I have replaced these blinds with curtains and fixed all minor maintenance items immediately after this guests checked out. As far as the grill I have a large electric grill on the counter (the listing says gas/electric) and the can opener was in the spoon cedi on the counter. Also when I received the email from the renter I immediately responded to him.

Recommended for:Age 55+.

Great Stay!

Our stay at Annie's Seaside was great. I was very concerned about the size of the house being that is 1600 sq ft. but found we had plenty of room for our families. When we arrived we found the house to be nice and clean. The beds were made with fresh lines and there were enough bath towels for everyone. Also the kitchen was well equipped. The owner is very friendly and a pleasure to deal with. He was very quick with responding to my emails with all the silly questions I would ask. (we had never been to this area before) The house is a quick walk to the pool and an even quicker walk to the beach. It is located in a nice quiet neighborhood. This is a great place to visit if you just want to relax on vacation and get away from it all. If you are looking for a quiet, affordable getaway this may be the place for you.
