You’ll feel right at home in this beautiful newly constructed home overlooking scenic Henry’s Lake. Just 20 minutes from Yellowstone National Park, and for all you fishermen, 5 minutes to Henry’s Lake and 20 minutes to the Madison and Henry’s Fork rivers, this convenient location provides quick and easy access to the spectacular wonders and recreation opportunities of Yellowstone Country. Your hosts are right next door should you need directions or recommendations.
The open living room, kitchen and dining area offer superb views of the surrounding mountains. On a clear day, you can see the Grand Teton Mountain range. Elk, antelope, deer and even an occasional bear can be seen passing through and its not rare to see golden and bald eagles soaring overhead. During the cooler months, moose are also common.
This home, which is currently in the process of being furnished, features 3 bedrooms, one master bedroom with a master bathroom with a log queen size bed, one smaller guest bedroom, also with a log queen size bed and one smaller bedroom with a futon sleeper that doubles as a sitting room. The main bathroom features a tub/shower combo. Large windows fill the bedrooms with wonderful mountain sunshine.
The dining, living and kitchen area are designed as a large great room, allowing guests to visit comfortably. Large windows surround the room so you can enjoy the breath-taking views as you share great conversation and meals with friends and family. You’ll stay nice and warm with the stylish cast iron gas stove which provides ample heat throughout the home in addition to electrical heat in all rooms.
The kitchen is fully equipped with everything you’ll need to enjoy a delicious home cooked meal. Staples such as flour, sugar, a few spices, and oil are stocked for your convenience. Dine at the table while you enjoy the views or pull up a stool at the bar. This kitchen offers the perfect “hang out” atmosphere. You’ll enjoy it!
Yellowstone Park Henry’s Lake Vacation Home is located in a quiet neighborhood with plenty of open space. You’ll feel quite relaxed sitting out on the deck or kicking back on the lawn without the noise common with other recreation rental homes. There is also a small lawn surrounding the house and a small patio.
If you enjoy the great outdoors, this is the vacation home for you. Its central location offers easy access to a variety of activities including world class fishing on the Henry’s Fork, Henry’s Lake, the Madison and Gallatin Rivers, Hebgen Lake and the rivers of Yellowstone Park. Hiking, wildlife watching, biking, horseback trail rides and interpretive tours are activities you can experience inside and outside of Yellowstone Park. Rafting and boating activities can be enjoyed on nearby rivers and lakes.
In the winter, snowmobile and snow coach tours of Yellowstone Park are a great way to see wildlife and some spectacular scenery. Outside of Yellowstone, there are over a thousand miles of groomed snowmobile trails and fields of powder. Snowmobile rentals are available in West Yellowstone and Island Park.
The area offers several cross country ski trails including the world famous Rendezvous Ski Trail System {used by Olympic and World Class competitors for training} and Harriman State Park. Classic and Skate skiing trails are groomed daily. Downhill skiing is also close by at Big Sky Resort and Grand Targhee Resort.
