Along with its waterfront location and spectacular views, this cozy 1BR condo positively exudes comfort and charm. It was fully renovated and redecorated following a change of ownership in 2011, The result is a compact unit that is bright, airy and inviting - while featuring all the comforts of home.
- - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - -Situated just above a sandy beach on one side, and a large panoramic pool on the other, our condo is a stone's throw from the crystal clear waters of the Caribbean. Views are nothing short of spectacular throughout the entire day.
Our guests begin most mornings by enjoying a beautiful sunrise over neighboring St. John (photo #13), That experience is soon replaced by a stunning 'down island' view of Tortola and the British Virgin Islands for the balance of the day (photo #1). After sunset on clear nights, guests can relax with a cocktail on our covered balcony while enjoying a captivating view of 'moonlight on the water'.
Previously part of a bungalow-style tropical hotel known for its charm and character, the condo has been gradually returned to that standard by its new owners. Little more than swimwear and a toothbrush are required to enable guests to immediately relax, unwind and simply enjoy the tropical surroundings. It's just what the doctor ordered for a couple seeking a romantic get-away, or a small family hoping for the vacation of a lifetime(our queen size sofa bed can accomodate children or a third adult).
The Point Pleasant Resort itself features a full range of amenities and activities, not the least of which is one popular restaurant and its three beautiful pools (one of which is located just below the condo's balcony). Excellent snorkeling is available literally steps away at Sugar, Coki and Pineapple beaches. Ocean kayaking, wind surfing, day sail charters, parasailing and jet ski rentals are all less than a five-minute walk away. In addition, Point Pleasant's own scenic hiking trail provides either an excellent workout or just a beautiful stroll for those who are interested.
Another 5 - 7 minute stroll will take you to the Island's renowned indoor Coral World facility. There, you can see a broad range of Caribbean marine life. After exiting Coral World, you are only steps away from the white sands and crystal clear waters of Coki Beach. Take a refreshing swim, enjoy excellent snorkeling or, alternatively, just relax and enjoy lunch or refreshments -- all without ever having to move from your lounge chair.
Our professional managers are available 24/7 to assist with any questions or with booking reservations. Some guests are able to fully enjoy their vacation without having their own transportation, but we recommend that you rent a car for at least part of your trip. You will quickly find that it greatly expands your ability to explore the island's many beaches and other beautiful sites -- not only on St. Thomas, but on neighboring St. John as well.
A day trip to St. John is an absolute must for anyone who visits St. Thomas, and inexpensive hourly ferries (in addition to frequent car ferries) enable visitors to greatly enrich their island experience.
Multiple restaurants of all types are a short drive or taxi ride away, and will surely tempt your taste buds. Alternatively, you are welcome to prepare meals in the unit. All necessary utensils are provided, and any provisions you need are available from nearby stores. If you enjoy fresh fish, many local varieties that have only been 'out of the ocean' for only a few hours are widely available - either in local stores, or simply at roadside stands.

We absolutely loved staying here. The manager, Cara, lives on island and has a Real Estate Company. She answered all of our questions prior to arrival and even helped us plan things to do. It was nice knowing that if there was a problem, there was somebody responsive to deal with it. This condo has been nicely remodeled and is very comfortable. The kitchen has everything you need, and since we like to cook, this was a huge positive. The bathroom is nicer than what we have at home. Views are awesome, and the location on property couldn't be better. It overlooks the pool and the restaurant, and is the shortest walk to the beach. MUCH BETTER THAN BEING UP ON THE HILL, CAN'T TELL YOU HOW MANY PEOPLE AT THE RESORT WERE JEALOUS OF US BECAUSE OF WHERE OUR CONDO WAS, WHILE THEY WALKED UP AND DOWN STEEP HILLS!! We highly recommend this condo, as it is very nice in everyway. Can't imagine that we could have chosen a better option.

Why Point Pleasant:
Location, location, location - the condo is out of the mainstream on by far the nicest end of the island. We visit a lot ourselves, and we are fortunate enoujgh to own the own the unit next door as well (VRBO #103297). We never cease to be amazed by the unique combination of spectacular views, morning sun, cooling ocean breezes and the seemingly ideal location of our two condos. In addition, for families or friends traveling together, we are very pleased to now be able to provide an opportunity for the entire group to be together in adjoining condos (we even have a door connecting the two patios that remains locked except for such groups - see photo # 11).
