Nestled in the woods, with a stunning view of the lake, this signature home is filled with Louisiana antique architectural details and all the modern features for accommodating large family reunions, wedding parties or corporate gatherings.
Seated dining for 22 with an open kitchen, bar, and family area. The dining table seats 12, the cooking island has seating for 4, beverage bar has seating for 6, and there is a screened porch off of the kitchen with a dining table seating 10. There is a wood burning fireplace and a beautiful, lighted fountain in the woods just off of the back porch area.
All bedrooms are large with a king bed, private bath and most open by French doors to a screened porch. Two of the king bedrooms are located on the first floor and the remaining king bedrooms are on the second floor. The screened sleeping porch has 2 double bed swings and luggage holder. This porch sits in the privacy of the tree tops. The front porch is a gathering spot with 2 large swings and rocking chairs, great for enjoying the breezes on lazy afternoons. The second floor has plenty of sleeping accommodations including a unique bunk room with a sliding door that separates the one room into two private rooms with one set of bunk beds in each. Also included in one side of the bunk room is a nursery area with a portacrib and rocker. There is also a wet bar on the second floor that has a refrigerator, ice maker, microwave, and sink.
There is a home theater system with surround sound in a separate living/media room. The stereo system is wired throughout the home and porches. This home also provides guests with high-speed wireless internet.
