Very clean and charming home. Pretty bright colors. Nicely decorated with all the conveniences of home.
The beach is just a short walk, wonderful view of marsh area, and the canal is right out the back door with access to the Intercoastal Waterway.

This property was perfect for my family (wife, 15yr old, and 5 yr old). Public access to the beach is at the end of the street and is a very short walk. My youngest son enjoyed swimming in the canal in the backyard as much if not more than the beach. The owner was very easy to work with, and responded quickly each time I had a question. We will be returning!Recommended for: Families with young children.

My family and I have stayed in this cottage on three seperate occasions. Obviously, we like it. Our boys love fishing in the canal (heck, I do too), and the very short stroll to the beach makes this house all we need. There are all the comforts of home in this cottage. This was the first time we used the VRBO. It was so much easier than going through a realtor. The owner was excellent to with. We will for sure stay here again. We recommend this cottage to couples, and families.Recommended for: Families with teenagers, romantic getaway, age 55+, families with young children, girls getaway, tourists without a car.

About the owner: I am from Fayetteville, NC. Born and raised there. The southern north Carolina beaches are close by and offer the perfect getaway. We enjoy boating and fishing at the coast as well as grilling out and welcoming visitors.
Why the Owner Chose Holden Beach:
Holden Beach is a wonderful family beach. It is clean and close to home so it is an easy getaway. We know many people at Holden Beach which is nice. We wanted property with direct boat access to the waterway.
