About 3 years ago I had my first trip to Napa, and I said to my wife we need to go back as many times as we possible can. So far we have been back once a year. The last trip in 2012 was very special. Me and my wife had the great pleasure of staying at this beautiful property for a month, we stayed there for all of July 2012. The bungalow is placed so you have the most beautiful views of the property, overlooking Napa City/ Napa Valley. I do travel extensively throughout the year. This place is the first place I have been to were you instantly feel calm, relaxed and balanced right away, (that has usually taken me 3-4 days on all of my other vacations). To top it all the owners Faith & Peter are the nicest people you can meet. They really carry their hearts first, really making an effort for your stay to be perfect. I wish the world had more people like them. We will be back!! Bente & BjornDid you find this review helpful? Yes | No Helpful votes: 0/0

Honeymoons in general are wonderful experiences by nature, but this place made it the experience of a lifetime! We spent 9 days in secluded beauty. We were met by our host and greeted with the wine, cherries and bread on the beautiful artisan butcher's block. The enormity of the view from the deck was completely overwhelming. I have never seen something so incredible! We enjoyed the feeling of being in a home while being on vacation, Dorji reminded us of our own dog at home. The owners could not have been more helpful with places to eat and ideas on wineries. It is the small things, such as the fresh (from the lavender garden) sachet that I got to take home to remind me of the evenings we spent watching the sun set in the garden. My husband and I are taken back to the deck when we smell a bottle of good Napa cabernet, where we rocked in the chairs and talked about our future. The drive in is beautiful, you are incredibly close to downtown Napa, but feel like you are truly 100 miles away from the worries of the world. Both the Napa and Sonoma Valleys are extremely accessible, along with the Russian River Valley. We were centrally located enough to spend a few days in San Francisco. I wish I could express the true thankfulness I have to the owners for sharing their BEAUTIFUL piece of Shangri-La with us. It is rustic and stunningly simple, which makes the glorious views the centerpiece of your stay. We felt like family. There is no higher recommendation I could give. We LOVED it.Recommended for: Romantic getaway, adventure seekers, sightseeing, families with young children, age 55+.
