  THIS home IS as SPECTACULAR as it looks!! I realized while planning another vacation I had not written a review and this home deserves a 5 STAR review. We had 11 people stay and we were not at all on top of one another, ~ PLENTY of room to roam. Also there are places to hike all around. The view is overwhelming and you will simply NOT want to leave. So unplug and RELAX

  My husband and I held an intimate marriage celebration here at this beautiful home. The owners were very accommodating. We were welcomed to the space several times over the course of our preparations to soak in the space and determine where things would be set up. It is a lovely place for a smaller gathering. Parking was a challenge for our guests but the owners gave us ideas about how to remedy them. It is obvious that the owners take a lot of pride in their home. They built it and it is filled with absolutely gorgeous and well-thought-out decor from Morocco and Mexico. They were cautious to rent out the space to us because previous renters had not respected their grounds very well. We took care of the place as if it were our own and received a full refund on our deposit. It is a magical place!

  spending 3 days at this moroccan paradise with 8 close friends for my 40th birthday was absolute heaven!! you feel as if you are on top of the world! i have traveled all over and to find this property basically in my backyard was a dream come true. the photos cant even begin to capture the beauty of this property.the sunsets from the jacuzzi cant be beat! you can see how much time and effort the owners have taken to make this truly feel like a home away from home. the owners were so down to earth and the rental process was easy. i highly recommend this amazing, beautiful gem!!!

  We rented this home for an extended vacation during a family reunion. The pictures on the listing do not do this home justice. We were absolutely amazed at how beautiful the home was inside and out. There were 9 of us staying and there was plenty of room for all. The master suite with the balcony was incredible and the mother-in-law suite with it's own kitchen was great for the in-laws who had 2 small children. The views of the surrounding mountains and ocean were unlike anything we had ever seen. The house was very nicely decorated and we had everything we needed. We had planned on spending a few days at the beach and sight seeing but once we saw the pool and the view, we decided to spend our days lounging and relaxing right there. We spent our evenings star gazing at the clear night sky from the back porch and the hot tub. Jen and Neal were extremely easy to work with and accommodating. They were quick to respond to any questions or concerns we had and the information they provided about the local attractions was extremely helpful. This home was perfect for our vacation and I can't say enough good things about it or our hosts. The location was great as well. Far enough away from the city to enjoy the peace and quiet, but only a short drive to all the tourist hot spots. This was our first time to California and I want to thank Neal and Jen for making this the most memorable vacation ever. I hope we can come back soon. Thank you, Thank you, Thank you!

  The location is great and like the photos on VRBO. The view from the house is amazing anytime of day or night. Amenities were all updated and a great open layout to have a nice dinner with a large group. I would definitely stay there again!

  This beautiful Moroccan home was the perfect place to relax for our Moms’ club weekend getaway. There were nine of us in our group and we had plenty of space, bathrooms, and beds to comfortably sleep. We brought potluck dishes and the kitchen provided all of the necessities for our food preparation. What sets this Malibu rental apart from others is the stylish décor, which will transport you to a Moroccan Oasis. There are not any kitschy dolphin or sailboat décor on the walls. In fact, it is obvious that the owners have taken great care to design this home from the ground up—with the Moorish archways and the tile design. From the light fixtures to the knobs on the exotic furniture, no detail was overlooked in creating a magical Moroccan feel. The breathtaking views of the expansive ocean and watching the splendor of the sunrise and set made it a true escape and like we experienced… a little piece of heaven. Thank you, Neal and Jen, for graciously opening your door to us.

  I spent 3 days here for my 50th bday with My husband, son and some friends who came over by for a little celebration. The house is incredibly comfy and beautiful and there is plenty of room if you want a party or just to lounge. Everything was great- the bedrooms are good sizes with great views and plenty of bathrooms. There is even a separate monther in law type suite with its own kitchen and bathroom. The Kitchen is fantastically appointed - you can cook up a storm. I plan on returning to this amazing house. Thank you to Jen and Neal for building this Dream house!

  I spent 3 days at this beautiful home with my 6 sisters and our Mother celebrating a birthday. We spent afternoons lounging around the pool and hot tub or on the porch soaking up the amazing views of the ocean and mountains. The house is so comfortable and very spacious with plenty of room for all. I look forward to returning for another wonderful getaway. Thanks Neal and Jen for sharing your place with us.

  Before arriving, we thought that the description was too good to be true. But everything about this property more than exceeded our expectations! It was extraordinarily peaceful. The home is beautifully designed and decorated, but is still very comfortable. We had nine people here and it wasn't crowded at all. Soaking in the hot tub at sunset...we felt like we were at the edge of the world. And I appreciated the sustainability of the home's solar power. A terrific place to relax and recharge!

  Looking for a beautiful unique location to have our wedding and reception, the house and property were absolutely perfect. With the unmatched view from atop the hills overlooking the ocean, open natural environment and beautiful Moroccan style home, this made for plenty of space, an amazing backdrop, photo opportunities and atmosphere to hold our wedding here. We looked at several homes/mansions/estates for the wedding and Neal and Jen were so great to work with and helpful with everything along the way making sure that the event would come off amazingly well. Thanks so much for helping make our big day great.
