Our family of six really enjoyed our stay in this clean and comfortable vacation home. The listing and photos accurately reflect the home. Our vacation was centered around visiting Silverwood, exploring the area and shopping, this was a perfect location for that! There are also LOTS of lakes within a short drive to enjoy water sports. Since our stay was near the end of summer we were fine without air conditioning, but we would have needed it if we'd been there earlier in the season. I'm glad to see in other comments that it's being added. There is lots of sleeping space and the yard was huge, perfect for our 4 children to run off some energy. Even though it is beside the hwy, the noise didn't bother us. Great service!Recommended for: Sightseeing, people with disabilities, families with teenagers, families with young children.

The house inside was quite nice and comfortable. Plenty of beds to sleep up to 10 people. It is on a frontage road of a major highway, but quiet once you get inside the house. It was difficult to find, and the surrounding properties in disrepair. We did eventually find the place but I was disappointed the owner did not call me back when I left a message we couldn't find the property.Recommended for: Sightseeing, families with teenagers.
Owner response: We give directions to all our renters . We have since become more detailed . We do not want any missed calls with our currant or future vacationers . We are so happy our listing is accurate .

Very friendly owners, the property was as described, nice central location. Our stay was in summer and we particularly liked sitting outside in the shade of the large tree around a nice camp fire.Recommended for: Sightseeing, people with disabilities, families with teenagers, families with young children.

Pros: Close to Silverwood (our purpose for the trip), good washer/dryer, good beds, well-stocked with dishes and bath towels. Overall, the description is accurate. Cons: Adjacent to freeway (traffic noise), we were there when the weather was hot - which made the house really hot because of no A/C and poor fans, felt a little grimy in the kitchen and bathroom, TV is poor (but who goes on vacation to watch TV?), would have liked more lighting in living room/dining room, would have liked the bedrooms to have better curtains/shades to keep out the morning light. Really bad: I'm not an electrician, but there seems to be some serious electrical problems. Many outlets throughout the house didn't work, the overhead fan/light in the living room did not work, the TV was plugged into an extension cord that went into the dining room, a space heater (that we didn't use) in the bathroom was plugged into the ceiling light.Owner response: We are are so happy our ad is accurate. As to the electrical issues, we had a circuit breaker fail at the property, our electrician had to order one and replace. Easy fix, which is done. As we love waking up to the sunshine, we can see how this could be bothersome to others, and will be adding blackout blinds. We will be adding air conditioning at the property in 2013. We are committed to our renters and their needs, and will continue to upgrade our vacation rental to ensure the comfort of our tenants. Mike & Kelly

We were thrilled to find a rental that did not require a 3 nights stay as we were just passing through hitting Silverwood as a grand finale to our road trip. The owner was very accommodating by providing enough beds to hold 9 of us. The house served us well and is very quaint and clean. Adding a second bathroom as they plan would be most beneficial. We would stay there again. The location description is accurate with the exception of needing a few details beyond what Map-quest provided to find the driveway. The photos on the site are accurate. The owner was very helpful in addressing questions and concerns. I would recommend to others unless their vacation is to stay in one place and enjoy the scenery. This is more of a pit stop place when you have activities planned in the area. Great location for that with the Lakes and Silverwood nearby.Recommended for: Sightseeing.

Can I say bang for your buck! well mantained, clean and comfortable. We all know its the little things. We spent 8 hours at SilverWood time of our life. Returned to our cozy rental for a BBQ on the deck . Weather 75 degrees well recieved after a long wet winter in Seattle. You know you had a great time when the kids and teanagers say,(when can we come back) and it didnt break the bank! We will be renting this home again soon! Thank You Mike for a great rental!!! About the owner: My husband and I were born and raised in Coeur d' Alene Idaho. One of the best vacation towns around. Great place for all ages to relax slow down and enjoy the scenery and all the recreation one can handle.

We have had our vacation home for 15years now. Before renting it to vacationers. Our home was a rental.Its become hard to find quality renters. So We decided to go as a year around Vacation rental. We are enjoying renting to people who are here to enjoy a clean confortable home. We felt this is a good opertune way for peole to visit Idaho. :)
