It is a nice home, at a quiet and convenient location with a gas station and super market across the street and park around the corner. There is all you need there (as long as you are 5 people at the max.). The owners are very responsive to questions and reimbursement, which we highly appreciate. House was very clean on our arrival and beds etc. were prepared. Zion National Park is amazing, and there is lots to do around (like Snow Canyon State Park and St. George and more).Recommended for: Families with teenagers, age 55+, sightseeing, romantic getaway, tourists without a car, families with young children, adventure seekers, people with disabilities.
Owner response: Thanks so much for your review. We are very glad you enjoyed your stay! Rich & Melody

We're here one more night but I don't want to forget to tell the world what a great find this home away from home is and how accommodating Rich Melody & Tausha are. I made reservations for 3 night quite some time ago, however, the universe decided to change well laid plans and we found ourselves driving toward LaVerkin from Denver a day early. With spotty cell coverage I finally reached Melody and we were allowed to come a day early. When we arrived at 8pm Tausha was cleaning everything for us. Even tho I'm sure we put a wrench in her plans, she was extremely pleasant, taking time to tell us about hiking options and leaving her phone number if we had problems. I diddo everything others have said about this wonderful place. It's a delight to come home to each evening and so very convenient for us. We hiked lower Zion one day, upper Zion one day and today we are heading to Kanarraville where we hear we will do a hike like Zion's Narrows but easier with a waterfall at the end. In Springdale, we ate at the Flying Monkey and highly recommend it.Recommended for: Families with teenagers, age 55+, sightseeing, romantic getaway, families with young children, adventure seekers, girls getaway, people with disabilities.
Owner response: Thanks so much. We are glad you enjoyed your stay. Coming in a day early was not a problem. Hope you enjoyed the beauty of southern Utah.

This was a great place for us to set up camp. The place was clean and ready to be used. Everything was just perfect. Everything we needed in the kitchen was clean and available. The bedrooms and bathrooms were great as well. We loved every second of our stay. Nice beds, nice furniture - just a nice place to stay for a vacation. It was the price of a hotel room with all the amenities of our home!Recommended for: Families with teenagers, age 55+, sightseeing, romantic getaway, tourists without a car, families with young children, adventure seekers, girls getaway, people with disabilities.
Owner response: Thank you and we hope you had a great vacation.

My daughter and I thoroughly enjoyed our stay in this clean, cozy house. We spent each day hiking in and around Zion Nat'l Park and each evening at this house relaxing and cooking a healthy meal together. The house is in an excellent location for travel to Zion Park as well as being in a great location for groceries and restuarants. We made it a nightly ritual to eat ice cream from the container while watching Netflix sitting in the comfortable reclining love seat in the living room. The rent on this house is affordable and you also cut vacation costs by preparing your own food. I highly recommend this property and we would definitely stay there again...Recommended for: Families with teenagers, age 55+, sightseeing, romantic getaway, adventure seekers, girls getaway.
Owner response: Thank you. We are very glad you enjoyed your stay. Come again anytime.

This was a great surprise ! It ws our first trip to Utah and we loved it. The house is close enough to Zion that we made 2 trips, we also saw Bryce Canyon, North Rim of the Grand Canyon and Pipe Springs National Monument. Everything is as advertised, house is very clean, the kitchen is very well stocked and the convenience of having the grocery store and gas station right on the corner is a bonus.. The hosts are great, they go out of their way to help out in anything they can, even sending us details of what to do and where to visit. Can't say enough about this house.. Will go back very soon.!!!!Recommended for: Families with teenagers, age 55+, sightseeing, families with young children.
Owner response: Very glad you enjoyed your stay. We welcome you back anytime.

Better than expected. House is perfect for family of 4 or 2 couples and is fully equipped. The full size washer & dryer were a bonus and their location off the master bedroom was quiet from the rest of the house. Candy and some staples were a pleasant surprise. Quiet neighborhood and near grocery store. It's location, near Zion made traveling to the park easy, especially to the Kolob Canyons area (our favorite because less crowded). We made this our home base for exploring Valley of Fire State Park, Zion NP, Bryce Canyon NP and Cedar Breaks NM. Only negative comment- no hair dryer. Would definitely recommend.Recommended for: Families with teenagers, age 55+, sightseeing, romantic getaway, families with young children, adventure seekers.
Owner response: Thanks for the input. A hair dryer is a good idea and has now been added.

Why pay more for a Springdale motel room when you can have a comfy, well-appointed two bedroom house with stocked kitchen for less. The 30 minute drive into Zion from La Verkin is scenic and easy plus if you do as we did and visit the Kolob Canyon area of Zion and Snow Canyon State Park just past St. George, La Verkin is actually centrally located. La Verkin and the bigger town Hurricane 3 miles away provide appropriate services. This house is not about fancy but it's new and it made for a homey home base. Our hosts were very accommodating including their willingness to pick up the sunflowers I ordered for my wife to see when we walked in after a long day traveling from home.Recommended for: Families with teenagers, age 55+, sightseeing, romantic getaway, families with young children, girls getaway.

We rented this home for a weekend and were very impressed. The location was great. The house is very close to the highway that goes to zion. and we were able to get the the park in less then 20 min. There is also a store and gas station close enough to walk which was great because we only had one car. Its nicely furnished and so much more comfortable then a motel room. It was great to have 2 seperate bedrooms and bathrooms so everyone can have some of thier own space. The money we saved being able to cook our own meals makes it cheaper to stay here then in a motel.Recommended for: Families with teenagers, age 55+, sightseeing, romantic getaway, families with young children, adventure seekers, girls getaway, people with disabilities.
