  We loved the OBX. Our rental property had everything we needed to make for a great vacation. We found it as described and reflected in the online pictures. The owner was excellent in communicating information about the property. The house was clean and well maintained. The bed was very comfortable and the kitchen was fully equipped to make whatever meals you wished. We would recommend making a visit to the visitor center to learn about all the area has to offer. The owners also had a host of brochures describing area attractions and restaurants. We would definitely recommend this property to family or friends.

  We had a great time and came to the beach to relax and just chill and that is what Chillin is all about. The house and all the outside space are Great. Also the kitchen is very well equipped if you like eating in.

  We had a wonderful week Chillin on the OBX! The house was clean, comfortable and perfect for our needs. The owners were great to work with and accessible to answer any questions we had. We felt welcome and right at home throughout our stay. The short walk to the beach was easily managed. The deck and covered porch provided the perfect mix of sun and shade and was my favorite location for morning coffee. The location was perfect as home base for our day trips throughout the area. We are seafood lovers and found wonderful restaurants nearby. We highly recommend Chillin and hope to be back next year!

  My group and I had a fantastic stay at chillin! From the first contact with the owners, until the day we left, everything went smoothly.When we arrived, the house was exactly as advertised - clean, cute and modern. there was also a small care package there to help us through the week, which was awesome! The proximity to the beach was amazing and the house was located smack dab in all the action of Outer Banks. If you're looking for a relaxing week, close to the ocean, in a fantastic house...you need to stay at Chillin!

  My family and I had a wonderful time at "Chillin" this summer. The house is only a block and a half from the beach on a quiet street. It is very "kid friendly" with gates on the deck stairs and safety plugs in the outlets. Our grandchildren had a great time with the toys the owners had left for them. We found the house very clean and airy. The covered deck always seem to catch a breeze, even on the hottest days.The owners were very helpful with any question or problem we had. We truly hope to return for another two weeks next summer.

  Our vacation experience renting Chillin' was very positive and all that we hoped it would be. From my initial telephone contact with the owners through subsequent e-mails to clarify all our questions, we received friendly, honest responses in all our communications. Awaiting us was a spotless beach house that had all the amenities we wanted on vacation -- clean and neat layout/decor, a well-equipped kitchen, comfortable beds, flat screen cableTV, and a covered upper deck where we ate many meals enjoying the breeze. The on-line photos accurately represent the cottage. We were especially pleased with the quiet neighborhood location, and most of all, the one-block walk to the beach, which was refreshingly uncrowded all week long. I would recommend renting Chillin' to any family looking for an affordable house to enjoy their beach experience!

  This is a great place to spend a relaxing time with your love ones. The looks almost new. The owners are very easy to reach and very accommodating. The area is. Very quite and we felt. Very safe. I would very strongly recommend this place.

  My family and I had a wonderful vacation at Chillin. House was clean and well maintained and it looked just like the pictures. Plenty of room and we really enjoyed the covered porch and space below the house. Grandkids played games provided. The Newmans were very helpful and answered all questions. Location was close to everything and walk to the beach was very short. We do plan to return again.

  First off, the homeowners are incredibly kind and answered all of our questions and concerns before we arrived! They are so nice and great to work with. Thanks ya'll! The house is exactly as pictured and described... no surprises! We had a wonderful week lounging on the expansive deck and playing cornhole in the backyard. The house COULD NOT be any more convenient in its proximity to the beach. You are roughly a block from the beach at Chillin! It was great to be close enough that we didn't feel it was necessary to always pack our lunch for the beach. Since the house was so close, oftentimes we would walk back to make food while someone lounged at the beach and watched our things. It was SO convenient! Did I mention the house is in a great location?! There is so much to do in the OBX and the locale of the house only aided our adventures! We were close enough to get lost three times on the way to a marina but still make our scheduled push off time for charter boat fishing. It is also near plenty of shopping as well as a couple fun wine shops (Chip's and Trio). We hated leaving and would go back in a heartbeat! Thanks again for a wonderful 'Chillin' week!

  My small family was very pleased and well taken care of at the beach rental "Chillin." We were greeted with a thoughtful care package and a clean, well decorated home that is only a short walking distance to the beach. The owner was so kind and the home had toys specific for my infant son and great books and magazines for my daughter and me! We enjoy cooking a lot, and the kitchen was stocked with all the dishes, utensils, and cooking gear a person needs. It's a great vacation spot and is conveniently located to everything! We'll definitely be back!
