  My family stayed at this beautiful home, we were completely comfortable within the home, and our surroundings. We have 2 teenage girls that roamed freely around the island without feeling scared or imtimidated. Everyone was super friendly and helpful. The owners of this beautiful home were very hospitible and full of information. And willing to make our stay the best it could be. I would highly recommed this home and Caye Caulker for families and couples, great times to be had by all!

  This was my first trip to the island and can say staying at this house made it very special. The owners had great knowledge of the isalnd and help with recommndations for day trips, restaurants and over all general information of the island! The house is very unique and way more than I expected. The native woods the great view from the roof top deck. Very quiet part of the island which I road the bick pathes several times just exploring the island. A very short ride to get to anything on the island, and what a great surprise to take a shower with the rain water! I have told all my friends what a great time I had and I would highly recommend this property to everyone. I am so ready to go back to this little slice of "paridise".

  My wife and I just spent 11 nights at Alta Vista. Liked it so much I booked 12 more nights for November before we left! The owners John and Annette were friendly and very helpful with our questions. The house is very nice with the use of the top two levels, and full of gorgeous Belizean wood. Living room, dining area, full kitchen and bathroom on one level and the 2 bedrooms and another bathroom upstairs, which is the 3rd floor. The owners live on the ground floor level when they are staying in Caye Caulker. There are 2 balconies and the wonderful rooftop deck with an awesome view a couple chairs and a hammock. House was very clean and has sand flea screens to keep the bugs out. We had the use of a window A/C unit upstairs (used only 2 times during our stay), a couple ceiling fans on each level and a portable fan. We also made use of the available WIFI which worked well. The owners let us use the laundry line and even the little barbeque they have! Nothing is really too far from anything in Caye Caulker but I recommend you rent bikes as it made getting around super easy. There is a chain attached to the house to lock them up. The house is located on a fairly quiet street which was nice. It was a wonderful home away from home and I cannot wait to return!

  This is a great place to stay on Caye Caulker. Very clean, functional, and easy to manage spaces. The house has everything in it you could possibly need. It is comfortable but also efficient. We stayed a month. The view is great and you can see both sides of the island from the roof top deck. Within walking distance to the airport. I will definitely stay there again.

  We stayed at Alta Vista during our very recent trip to Belize. We were there for the last two weeks of January and the weather was great. Alta Vista is a beautiful home, we especially loved the roof top terrace. We had coffee on it nearly every morning and loved the amazing view where you can see much of the island. The upper stories get a great breeze at night and it feels like your in a tree house! The kitchen is fully equiped/stocked and it was very easy to cook in. The proprieters of the home were available and helpful in getting settled and were very helpful with any questions were had during our stay. We highly recomment Alta Vista as we had an amazing vacation and can't wait to return to Caye Caulker.

  This house is a must....It was much more than I expected. The photos do not do it justice. It is so unique from the native woods through out the house to the rain water shower. I would take my coffee to the roof top deck every morning....It was so wonderful! The owners were so helpful with activities, restaurants and just general information about Caye Caulker. It is in a nice and quiet part of the island but if you want action it is very close. I loved riding my bike or just strolling along paradise. I would recommend this rental to everyone...I want to go back!!
