  My family had a great time during our week stay in Lake Lure celebrating my parent's 40th anniversary. The condo was just as described...Neat and clean. The owners are easy to work with and very accomodating. A great benefit of staying at this condo was access to Rumbling Bald Resort where there are plenty of activities such as pools, mini golf, beach access, tennis, etc. There was also a great firework show on the 4th of July. I would definitely recommend this condo to friends and family! We've even been back recently for a weekend stay.

  We just got back from a great weekend at a beautiful lake resort. The rental was great, very private, large deck area in the treetops. It was very comfortable inside with great beds and very clean. The resort is fantastic, with a private beach, indoor pools. outdoor pools, golf and large fitness center.

  We just stayed at this Bent Creek townhouse, and it was perfect for our needs. We have a young family, and it was very clean and the perfect place for our family get-away. I loved the family-friendliness of the condo (everything on one floor, the girls had their own bathroom). The kids loved the movie, game, and book collections. Becky and Tom were great to work with- they answered my millions of questions before we left and were available throughout our stay. We enjoyed the quietness of this condo location. We were able to enjoy the Rumbling Bald Resort amenities but in a quiet neighborhood. Rumbling Bald Resort was wonderful- the staff was all very friendly, and they went above and beyond to make sure we enjoyed ourselves. We took advantage of the many amenities- Putt Putt, Pool with Lazy River, Fishing, Beach, Playground, Ice Cream Parlor and Legends Deli & Pub. We highly recommend this condo and Rumbling Bald Resort. We would love to go back again soon!

  Overall this was a fine place to stay. Knowing the price, we didn't expect luxury and it was as we expected. Unit is dated, especially the kitchen and appliances. Warning- it takes 10 minutes to make toast so you may want to bring your own toaster! It was clean and nothing was broken but upscale it is not. Access to resort amenities makes it definitely worth the price- if it hadn't rained the whole time we would have really enjoyed the resort! It is a short (less than 5 minute) drive to the resort. Not many restaurants in the area- most are a drive if you go off the resort. Be sure to check out Chimney Rock while here- that was our favorite destination activity. Overall if you want a clean, comfortable place to stay and don't care about having granite countertops or top of the line furnishings, this place is a good find and great price for the area.

  Owner response: Amy, Thank you for your review. Yes, our home has comfortable furnishings and decor - a home away from home. We have updated over the past couple of years, even in the kitchen. The toaster will be replaced since it is not working. If you are looking for luxury, granite counter tops, top of the line furnishings - this is not your place. Our place is an affordable, clean, comfortable, private home on one floor in the beautiful surroundings of a mountain lake with access to the amenities of Rumbling Bald Resort. It is a great place from which to enjoy the many opportunities, sites and fun in the area: Lake Lure, Chimney Rock, Black Mountain, Asheville, fishing, rock climbing, hiking, biking, etc.

  my family had a great time. It is so pretty there. Loved seeing the wild life and all nature has to offer. clean, quite townhome. It was all I was told it was and more. Would love to go back. So close to home. We really enjoy everything. the pools, lake, the beach area. The resort really knows how to party on the 4th of july. Great fireworks. There was so must going on at the resort the whole weekend of the 4th of july. Thank you so much.

  Great area for families. A lot of things to do within a 45 minute drive. The home is perfectly maintained and in a great quiet area. The amenities of of Lake Lure are perfect for all ages. We experienced one our best family vacations ever and plan on coming back again! Thank you for offering such a great home for others to enjoy.

  We really enjoyed our stay at this . There was plenty of room for our family of 5. This townhome was so peaceful and quiet. Our whole family enjoyed having lake access, swimming at the resort pool and the local restaurants in the area. We would highly recommend staying here and plan to return!

  The condo was perfect for my family. The owners were a pleasure to work with. The condo is close to everything and there is lots to do in the area. We rented a boat, swam in the lake and the pool, played miniature golf, went to Chimney Rock, etc. We love Lake Lure! We would love to stay here again!

  We just spent the weekend in this home. Very serene setting in the woods. The place had everything we could possibly need. Very comfortable beds, perfect Master Suite for my parents. Lots of space and in excellent condition. I highly recommend it. It was relaxing, but with the Rumbling Bald resort access...there was plenty to do. Great restaurants, loved the pool, suana and spa. Thanks so much!
