House and location were great! Plenty of passes for access to Rumbling Bald resort and Darlene was a pleasure to work with. House was comfortable and clean and we didn't even get to the downstairs to enjoy all it had to offer but that is a perfect place for kids and family to hangout.

This mountain cabin was the perfect getaway! The house was beautiful, comfortable, and incredibly well stocked with everything we needed. The hot tub was such a nice bonus and the perfect way to relax after a day in the mountains. We also loved all of the resort amenities and everything the property had to offer. We had a wonderful stay and would absolutely book this cabin again! Highly recommend!

A beautiful mountain retreat. We loved the hot tub, shuffle board, and sun room. Highly recommend an SUV or truck as it is a steep climb. Thank you Darlene for the hospitality!

Loved the privacy, the room to spread out and ease of communication with management! 3 dining areas provided all the options we needed! Beds were comfortable and kitchen well stocked. Appliances were so up to date that I needed a tutorial to operate some of them! Great stay with 4 generations of family!

Loved our 4 day stay at this lovely home. Every thing you could want or need was provided. The home is beautifully decorated. I absolutely loved the sunroof. SO relaxing we basically lived in it. My grandson's enjoyed the lower level and spent most of their time there. Unfortunately I did not have time to try out the hot tub. The location was secluded and very peaceful. No traffic and only one neighbor. I plan on a return visit next year. Check in process was very easy and communication with host was excellent.

We did not get check-in instructions until an hour and half past check in time. We also had the cleaning company walk in completely unannounced to change the batteries on the lock and created chaos with our dogs. The home was otherwise nice.

I’m sorry the code was given later than 4 but it was given upon arrival. If the front door code batteries get too low it will lock you out. I am always concerned about this and change them often. I’m sorry I should have texted that the cleaning company was coming to change them. I’m glad all else was good with your stay please come again.

My group of 8 spent labor day at Gigi's Mtn Lake Cottage. It was absolutely wonderful. The cabin is gorgeous and everything was so comfortable. The cabin has been completely remodeled, everthing is new, the kitchen is well stocked, wi-fi works great, hot tub is PERFECTO, downstairs added bonus is great for folks who want to stay up later, and the access to the resort is wonderful. I could not have asked for a better stay with my family. The only thing for me is no Kuerig coffee, as I'm the only coffee drinker so I love those coffee makers, but there is a really nice coffee maker there to use, along with all the kitchen stuff you'll ever need. We didn't understand the grill situation either, so could have been our mistake - maybe it was listed as a smoker, but we just pan fried the steaks instead. The host is very responsive. I ran down the mountain every morning, to the resort. It's aproximately 1.8 miles, and then hiked up...lol....no running up those mountains....but the views were breathtaking. I saw a turkey on one of my runs, and my family saw a black bear on their drive up. We had a lot of rain, which was so cool, and refreshing!

The trip up the mountain was interesting but such gorgeous views! Darlene had great attention to detail and our beds were so comfortable! Our only downfall is that we couldn’t get the tvs to work but not a deal breaker. Beautiful property and views!

Fantastic place. The bed was the most comfortable I've slept in in forever. The hot tubs and game room were a big draw. Plenty of space and super clean. They really thought of all the little pleasantries. We'd definitely stay again!!!

Hidden Gem

This is one of the nicest, most well appointed homes we’ve stayed in during our many trips to Rumbling Bald. It was clean and comfortable with lots of thoughtful touches. We especially enjoyed the glassed-in porch and the hot tub. The first drive in was a little tricky, but once we got the hang of it, it was easy to get on and off the mountain. Highly recommend.

A Restful Retreat

Our family of 7 stayed in this wonderful home to welcome in the new year. Everyone had plenty of space to rest and relax. Lots of games and hiking. Family meals around the table in the sunroom each day were a big highlight, and the hot tub was used multiple times each day. Thank you!!
