Classy Country Guesthouse
Classy Country Guesthouse
My stay at the R&R Guest Ranch was thoroughly enjoyable. Hosts Sabrina and Ken are delightful people who maintain a very clean, pleasant guesthouse. The kitchen was well supplied with dishes and cookware, the queen size bed was most comfortable, and the laundry room was a bonus. I especially enjoyed evenings on the private deck and strolling around the property. I used the guesthouse as "home base" for trips to the Oregon coast, Eugene, and many of Medford's local attractions. If you enjoy the peacefulness of a country setting and seek outdoor adventures, the R&R Guest Ranch might be the perfect spot for you!

What a lovely location to spend our time in southern Oregon! Sabrina and Ken were wonderful hosts who went above and beyond to make our stay enjoyable. Having used VRBO many times I would have to say this rental far exceeded our expectations. There are so many fun activities in this area and we did our best to experience them all; Crater Lake, CA Redwoods, waterfalls, the ocean, the Rogue river, the wineries, wonderful candy and pizza, the little town of Jacksonville and of course Ashland with the OSF and Lithia park. We were so glad we spent an entire month at R & R Ranch!

Rejuvinating, restful, and healing
Our stay in this most beautiful place has been rejuvenating, restful, and healing. This has been the perfect spot to start my new life as a retired person! As beautiful and wonderful as the cottage and surroundings have been-it's all been surpassed by the generosity and graciousness of Sabrina and Ken. Thank you dear people for sharing your home with us. We will miss driving into the Ranch, the animals, most especially our precious Baylee, the sunsets over the mountains and the gorgeous sunrises from the deck. It has been splendid.

Enjoyed my time
I traveled from Maine to Oregon for a 3 week work assignment at a nearby skilled rehab unit. My stay at R&R Ranch has been stellar. The sunrise from the deck is beautiful. The sunsets from pergola are amazing! My dog Hobie has loved her freedom here. She and Baylee have wandered around the grounds endlessly. There are so many sites and places around. Way too much to see in only a month. I have really enjoyed my time here and the wonderful hospitality that Ken and Sabrina have shown.

Year Purchased: 2007
About the owner: Ken and Sabrina Reich purchased the property in May of 2007 with only this structure and the ten acres of land you see around you. We lived in this house for ten months while our main house was being built. We were married on the property in September of 2007 at the arbor under the trees to the left of the front of guesthouse. We have been working on the house and surrounding landscape ever since. We came up with R&R as in “rest and relaxation”, something we aspire to but get very little of with working full time and the work of ten acres, but we enjoy it very much and wouldn’t have it any other way. We did some updates to the guesthouse and thought someone might enjoy staying here a short time as much as we appreciate living here. We have lived in Southern Oregon almost all of our lives and take advantage of all the options for recreation so nearby whenever possible. We love to golf, ski, camp, hike, bike, and enjoy the vast selection of dining and entertainment options throughout the region.
Why the Owner Chose Gold Hill:
We were interested in this property for the serene location and being surrounded by mountains and country. We wanted to get out of suburban living with small yards and constant noise of traffic and neighbors. We fell in love with this property and loved that it is was still a short drive to get to work or other needs.
The Unique Benefits at this Apartment:
This guesthouse is wonderful for the amenities and conveniences it has for a smaller space. The large back patio has a great view of morning sunrises as well as watching birds and other wildlife frolic in the woods. You are welcome to sit at the pergola area with the fire pit or in rocker by the waterfall.
