Ramsgate is an ideal relaxing vacation destination at a Gulf-front condominium overlooking the white sand and emerald-green waters of the Gulf! This one-bedroom/one-bath condo features a king size bed in the bedroom and a futon sleeper in the family room to sleep up to four comfortably. You will also find an over sized deck that overlooks the beautiful water that offers direct access to the beach. Just walk out the living room and down the stairs, as this unit is located on the third floor. You will also enjoy a full kitchen and washer/dryer in this unit.
The condominium is located just a few miles from Seaside... right in between Rosemary Beach and Seaside! Same gorgeous beach at half the cost, ideal for a romantic retreat. Miles of uncrowned beaches and unobstructed views makes this the perfect spot for a quiet getaway. Parking is available for two cars. We also welcome your pet for an extra fee.
This area is stunningly beautiful with so much to see. If dining at home while on vacation is not your idea of fun, then get out and explore all the wonderful restaurants from Seaside to Panama City Beach. Take the scenic stroll down 30-A. Local favorite restaurants in Panama City are 30 Degree Blue, Kingfish Plantation, Club 19, Lime's Bar and Grill, and the Saltwater Cafe and Martini Bar. Take a short ride to Rosemary Beach and try out the upscale restaurants Ona No and Blue by Night. Shades is in Inlet Beach, a great casual restaurant for the entire family. Don't miss the spectacular architecture of Water Color, and while you are there have dinner at Fish Out Of Water; you won't be disappointed, as this spot makes for a very upscale and romantic evening.
Another favorite for breakfast and lunch is the Fonville Press at Alys Beach, where you will be in awe of the stunning all white, inspired from Greece, architecture. If you stop in Seagrove Beach, Cafe 30-A is one you don't want to miss, along with Bud and Alley's in Seaside. And don't forget the fun-the Red Door is where it is. Live jazz and great food will make this a night to remember.
The Emerald Coast has been voted one of the top five beaches in the world; come see for yourself!

I think usually reviews are only written by those with problems and hope for the best- now I know to take the reviews seriously. The unit was moldy - I had an allergy attack while there -but more importantly - the sliding door to the deck CAME OFF and fell on the deck - when I called, a handyman did come out but without tools to fix it and we were told to just "stay away from the door" to the deck; made me feel that I was responsible for what obviously is a long running problem - what good is a deck that you cannot use? especially with beach access on the other side of the condo; the decks/steps to the water have nails and split wood and are very rickity; only 2 stove burners worked; there was very little flatwear and only basic cookware - mostly scratched. I am very disappointed in this condo unit, especially with the repairs that needed to be done before we got there. Be sure to ask about the door/ deck BEFORE you go. This is dangerous and could hurt someone. It needs to be replaced !! BTW - this is not pet friendly on the third floor with no elevators. I wish I had stayed across the street; same walk to the beach;

Sadly neglected, this older property is in desperate need of an overhaul. The unit in particular could benefit from one as well. Upon entering, we were overtaken by a musty smell, which we later assumed is largely a result of the mold accumulating in the bathroom, including inside the cabinet over the washer and dryer. We also were surprised to find that all the dishes were in the dishwasher. I don't know about you, but I don't generally go on vacation so that I can unload a dishwasher as soon as I arrive. Only two of the stove's burners are functional, half of the electrical outlets are actually live, the windows are dirty to the point of limiting visibility (it was nicer to keep the curtains closed), the sliding glass door is barely functional, and the air conditioning intermittently went on and off on the last day. I too was surprised to see a beachwalk deck with splintering wood and nails sticking up out of it, considering the number of small children using it. I asked that we be moved to another property, but was told that they were "booked up". I've stayed on 30-A every year for the past 10 years and have never stayed in a place so poorly maintained. For the money, you can do better, even in "high" season...and if you're willing to spend a few more dollars per night, you can do FAR, FAR better (and be in a better location, to boot). Hopefully, the owners will take this opportunity to fix this unit.

My wife and I were looking for a quick getaway for our second anniversary and an escape for a couple of days before the arrival of our first child. We have used VRBO.com before and love to use this tool to look for places to stay. We were contacted back by the owners and they could not have been more friendly or accommodating. The view from this property is excellent and it is nice to stay at smaller venues so as not to fight the crowds and basically have the beach all to yourself. I also like the fact that this unit is pet friendly, however, we did not bring our dog along for this trip. Make sure to bring a bike or rent one during your stay as the scenery is great and the property is centrally located between the resort areas of Seaside and Rosemary Beach. I hope future patrons will enjoy this unit as much as the wife and I did.
Owner response:Glad you enjoyed your stay! It is a great location and a low key area!

We were extremely disappointed in this property. We expected it to be within a bike ride distance to the heart of Seaside, and it was not. It was over 7 miles to Seaside. The condo is very small. The garbage disposal did not work, the hot water heater did not work. The facility seemed very old. Nails were coming up through all the stairs leading to the beach, very unsafe for children. This is NOT a good place for children at all. You are not close to anything by bike. You have to drive everywhere you want to go. This was not what we expected and we left after only staying one night. VERY DISAPPOINTED.
Owner response:We are sorry that this was a disappointing stay for you. This unit is 5 miles from Seaside and 2 from Rosemary Beach. This is a one bedroom one bath, a standard size one bedroom unit. All along 30-A is a biking community. We are sorry that you had an issue with the hot water heater, it had been working the week prior and must have gone out on the day you arrived. It was fixed promptly that day. This property is an older property and is loved for the feel and the location by most renters. It does not have the amenities of the big high rises in PCB or Destin, it is a quiet area in Seagrove Beach near Seaside and Rosemary Beach. We are glad that we moved you to a two bedroom unit in Panama City Beach and that you enjoyed your stay there!

My husband, 2 children (ages 5 and 2), dachshund, and I were so sad to have to pack up and leave our wonderful vacation last Friday. We had a terrific time at this condo and found it to be wonderfully relaxing as well as fantastic vacation experience. The view from the balcony was second to none and the beaches were gorgeous and not crowded. My only recommendation would be to take along some extra towels as there are only 4 in the condo. Also, take along your bicycles for rides on the pathways to take in the beautiful scenery! Thank you for a great experience! We hope to stay with you again soon!
