The dome is beautiful in all aspects with an amazing 800 square foot master bedroom loft, dramatic 30 foot ceilings, fireplace, beautiful wood interior, a custom designed hickory kitchen, with newer appliances, and a large 360 degree wrap-around deck on the second story. Every window provides panoramic views -- and that is just the dome. Attached to the dome is a 2000 square foot activity wing with its own full kitchen, 40 foot indoor swimming pool, jacuzzi, sauna, meditation loft, lounge area, and bar. The pool opens up to a beautiful patio with a barbecue, outside dining area and another outside spa that overlooks its own private valley.
This property is perfect for family, church, school, and corporate retreats and has sleeping accommodations for twelve. We will provide you with organized hiking, biking, climbing, yoga, horseback riding, massage, entertainment etc. with local professionals, or you are welcome to bring your own programs and agendas. The property also lends itself to relaxing and doing nothing except enjoying the abundant wildlife, fabulous night skies, beautiful natural surroundings, and spectacular views. What an incredible home! Absolutely beautiful - inside and out. We visited the last week of August (during a heatwave!) and the home was a cool paradise after a hot hike in the desert. Lots of things to do such as hiking, swimming, checking out the wildlife (lots of roadrunners, rabbits, lizards and even a fox!) and stargazing at night on the deck. The deck is really gorgeous and the stars are just amazing. Everything was great - beds were comfortable, house is huge, kitchen was well stocked, bathrooms clean. My only comment is for people who like to sleep in: the upstairs bedroom has a huge window in front of the bed that faces the sunrise... so this bedroom is recommended for early morning risers :)

This was my second year staying at this haven in Joshua Tree. I love it so much! We are surrounded by mountains, hiking, wildlife, and the quiet of the land. In doors, we have hot tub, sauna, pool, and a beautiful view of the outdoors.

We stayed the weekend in late June 2010, and I will definitely stay here again. The place was so clean and well kept. The bonus is the pool and jacuzzi! The master bedroom is really unique and comfortable for a good night's sleep. The house sits higher than the other houses surrounding it and we had the best sunsets to look at every night.

The Joshua Tree dome home was a fabulous rental! We stayed over spring break with our family and San Diego/LA friends and thoroughly enjoyed it. The home is clean, well-maintained and the kitchen was well-stocked with the basics (paper towels, dishwasher detergent, etc). The pool and jacuzzi were great! Plenty of space for us to spread out! Pictures on this listing are very accurate. Some of us climbed the "hill" right behind the house for spectacular views. Close to the national park, for hiking, etc. We highly recommend this property. Looked like the best in Joshua tree! Thank you!

This was an awesome place. We visited over Spring break (April 2010) with our family of 5 joining another family of 3. Plenty of room in this incredible home. So many things to do both inside and out. Close to the National Park where we took some great hikes and arranged for a private rock climbing experience. The house and property were amazing-- very clean, well maintained, great pool, sauna, hot tub, comfortable beds, well stocked kitchen, and perfect location. Small children will need to be supervised by the pool and in the yard due to the many cacti. This was the perfect place to stay for a relaxing, adventurous and active vacation.

We had the best time at this house. My brothers and I met there with our families, and enjoyed every minute. The children played in the pool and the property, and the adults enjoyed the peace of the home, the setting, and the beutiful starry skies.
