This beautiful historic Victorian estate known as the Adriance House, includes a separate Pool house located behind the farmhouse which is available for guests. This lovely Queen Anne Victorian built in 1892, was one of the first farms in Browns Valley, and one of the last grand dames still existing in this now residential area. Originally part of a 29 acre pear and prune orchard farm, John C. Adriance started out with a small chicken ranch to bring in an income while the orchards reached maturity. Only 1.32 acres remain part of this property. However, it is our dream to restore and preserve the history and beauty of this place.
The main house has 5 bedrooms, 3.5 baths. There are 4 bedrooms upstairs (2 Queen and 2 King sized beds) and a large master suite downstairs-( which has a king-sized Select Comfort Sleep number bed). The kitchen has been remodeled to include a beautiful tin ceiling, a full gourmet kitchen with dining area. This dining area overlooks a large family room with a 1902 parlor stove, 50 inch plasma TV, DVD player and comfortable sofa, love seat, and overstuffed chair. DSL internet and cable TV are included. Large 400 sq/ft deck overlooks a park-like yard, pool and hot tub. Large private backyard. Formal dining room and parlor.
The Poolhouse which can be included with the Victorian, is located on the back deck, just steps away from the main house. It has a queen size bed, TV sitting area with cable, DSL, DVD/VCR player, local phone, full kitchen, and full bath. There is also a separate pool restroom available for guests that are swimming.
The estate graciously accommodates 1-10 guests. With a beautiful view of Browns Valley, you will admire lovely sunsets over the western hills. A peaceful location, a wonderful resort for mind, body and spirit. No loud parties or events allowed. Located close to many wonderful activities not only in Napa Valley, but in the North Bay area. The owners- Rob and Debbie Dornaus are nearby and provide a wealth of information on Napa Valley for your enjoyment.

Winter rates-for Main house~(Nov.-Mar. 2009 2-3 night minimum
$700/night .. $4200/week Poolhouse Studio: $125/night
Weekends - 3 night min. Weekend holidays-Thanksgiving/Christmas 4 night min.
Add 12% city tax Business license #25635 City occupancy limit 10 max.
$800 security/reservation deposit to secure dates- (refundable)
Cleaning fee- main house 200.00 (Poolhouse studio cleaning fee 50.00)

Why the Owner Chose Napa
When we found this home we loved it for it's history and style. Having never owned a Victorian home before we learned all we could about them as we set out to remodel this home and return it to an older memory of days gone by. We knew that this home was meant to be shared with others, and so we became licensed for the vacation rental. We have been operating for the last 2 years now and love it! There is great light and warmth in this home and the back yard is a wonderful place to spend with family and friends. We hope you will enjoy and love it as much as we do!

If you love to cook, you will enjoy this home. Take a stroll down to the yogurt shop or Gigi's Muffin shop. Or take a short drive over to the factory outlets and shop. It's only 2-3 miles to downtown Napa where you can eat, shop and do some wine tasting! If you love sunsets, you will enjoy sitting on the back deck. If you love to swim, soak in the hot tub, lay in the sun or just watch t.v. on our Plasma flat screen television, you will enjoy yourself immensely!!

Rob and Debbie have been married for 34 years. They have always loved entertaining, cooking and serving others. They are gifted with hospitality! So when the opportunity came up to purchase this old home and remodel it, they jumped at the chance. Being so supportive of marriage and families, they felt that this home could be used to create happy memories for many families, and friends. Someday they hope to own a B & B which will give them greater opportunities to serve and meet the great people who come into their paths!
