Imagine, a little white beach on a quiet peninsula of the Magothy River. Within view of our beach (and deck) are nesting bald eagles, flocks of majestic blue herons and spectacular Chesapeake Bay sunsets!
We are located on a unique protected beach that is just a few miles from the open Chesapeake Bay, and minutes away (by one of our many boats) from Dobbin’s Island, waterfront crab-shacks, tranquil canoeing and kayaking, and sunny day-sailing. A typical day at the cottage includes early morning kayak explorations, reading in the adirondak chairs down on the beach, canoeing to one of our favorite waterfront restaurants for lunch, cooling off with a swim or a sail in the afternoon, crabbing as the sun sets, and finally barbecuing on the deck while watching the moon rise over the water.
Our cozy cottage is as beautiful inside as is the view outside! Hardwood floors and completely renovated throughout, and views of the water from each room.
Upstairs there are two bedrooms (one with a queen bed and one with three twins), both with water views, and one large bathroom.
The Main floor has a wide-open living space (with fold-out bed) and dining area for 8, large kitchen with a reading/computer nook and separate den.
In the basement there is a new full bathroom, Washer/dryer, ping-pong table, boating/crabbing supplies and walkout to water.
By car, this charming cottage is only 20 minutes away from historic Annapolis, 20 minutes away from Baltimore’s waterfront and BWI International Airport and 45 minutes away from Washington, DC.
See you soon!

This was a very relaxing place to stay. It had all the amenities we could have asked for in a casual, comfortable home. It was quite dog friendly and had a large yard where we could bring them to play. The deck was secluded with a beautiful water view. The owner was very nice and easy to deal with. We had limited time, but would have liked to use the boats provided.

The property may have a beach at certain times of the year, but it was mostly covered in water while we were there and not attractive for swimming or sunning. A neighbor's loud machine running 24/7 marred outside time. When we attempted to prepare food for ourselves we found crucial basics missing (no toaster?) Ultimately, we decided to take a vacation away from our vacation, and went home early.

Sweet, cozy cottage. Great View of the river and watching the ducks and geese meander through the back yard. Great home base when sight seeing the area. Canoe and rowboat were fun on the river. Small comforts of home left by owners. Deck has a fantastic view, great for morning coffee or evening star gazing. Fireworks everywhere presented a fun night.

Our family of 5 and 2 pets stayed in this charming cottage while we were between homes in a move. There was plenty of space for everyone, the kitchen was well equipped and we all really enjoyed the beach and canoes. The owners are very friendly and responsive to your needs. I would stay here again without hesitation and recommend it to my friends.

Had the most wonderful stay. Spectacular location and really on the water's edge. Pictures are a true indication of what is offered. The cottage is very well appointed and very comfortable. Great to have had use of boats and got offered first class hospitality by owners and neighbours.

We enjoyed our stay at this cottage. Worked well for my family of four and my in-laws. Worked out much better than two hotel rooms. We were in the area a few days prior to taking our son to the Naval Academy for Induction Day.

What a great place to stay! You are an easy drive away from DC, Baltimore, Annapolis and the eastern shore, yet you could have a great time without ever leaving the cottage. The cottage was clean, charming and contained everything we needed. The owners were great and the ride on the schooner was a real highlight of a the trip. We would definitely stay here again.
