How close are you to the slopes?: Snowberry is situated in the Benchlands which is just to the left of the Wizard chair if one is looking up Blackcomb Mountain. We are just above the Four Seasons, Club Inrawest and The Chateau Whistler and across from the Chateau Whistler Golf Course. The shuttle bus drops off outside Snowberry and picks up on the other side of Snowberry, about 1 minutes walk from the front door. A further 1 minute walk will take you to the beginning of the cat track from where you can ski down to the base of the Wizard lift (if sufficient snow).
For summer renters we are located just a few minutes walk from public tennis courts.
Is a car necessary?: Once in Whistler, there is little need for a car and it can be great fun to be met by a limo and ride up to Whistler in style. You cannot park any closer to the slopes than our place. Also, the free shuttle bus drops you off about 30m from the door and picks you up about 100m from the back parking lot, so even if you are with children, there is not alot of walking to do. Except for early and late season, you can even ski down and home or walk down on the local trails year round. It takes about 10 minutes to walk without children. The buses feed the village shops and the Market Place where there is the big grocery store, video rental, etc. and there are always taxis for a weekly grocery shop.
Other alternatives for getting to Whistler are the airport coaches - these take about 3 hours from the airport to the village where taxis will take you the remaining short distance.
Saying this, we have 2 dedicated parking spaces should you decided to bring a car or are having guests.
What are the benefits of booking early?: Whistler offers great deals for those who pay for accomodation and lift tickets before November 15th. This year you can save up to 35% on 5 day+ lift passes & KIDS SKI FREE! Call us to discuss how to do this. There are also discount days when ski school is half price so you should look out for these.
We are very keen to take long-stay reservations of over 7 days. This can be difficult later in the season so book early if you want this. We are happy to offer 1 night free for every 7 nights you book.
We recommend that you book your ski tickets through AlluraDirect. Contact us for address. You can quote our property number 158 and this will give you the best prices on tickets especially if you book before November 15th.

Bedrooms: 3 Bedrooms, Sleeps 10
- All of the bedrooms are spacious and newly re-furbished. All have plenty of hanging and drawer space, bedside tables and mirrors. When we stay with 2 families we generally have one family on the main level with the grown-ups in the large room with the king-sized bed and the children in the other bedroom. The other family goes up-stairs with the adults in the king-sized bed and the children in the loft. Each family then has its own bathroom. In reality the children sleep all over the place of course! If we have spill-over guests for a night or 2 they can sleep on the futon or sofa-bed in the sitting room. There is storage for clothes in the leather coffee table. In the evening, the children can go upstairs to watch TV while the adults enjoy the sitting room area....moreless
Bathrooms: 2 Bathrooms
- Bathroom 1 is on the main level off the sitting room and is in 2 parts - a sink/vanity area and separate bath/shower and loo. The vanity area leads into the Queen sized bedroom. The second bathroom is upstairs and can be accessed by both the bedroom and the loft. It has a shower, loo and sink....moreless

This is a lovely, spacious, well-maintained property, and the kitchen has every utensil you could want. The layout of the rooms is great too, as all three bedrooms are positioned away from each other, with two on either end of the main level and a lovely loft bedroom above. The upstairs bathroom has also been upgraded with a huge shower and heated tiles. I was worried that it might be a bit out of the way, but a free shuttle stops right outside the complex, so it was super easy to get into the village. It's also not that far to walk. I'd highly recommend it!

We loved staying in Snowberry and the layout of the chalet is great (especially the boot/ski room downstairs) and we particularly appreciated the very well equipped kitchen. The chalet was spotless and well cared for. We re-iterate some of the previous comments that having information in the chalet on the "ski out" (we never managed this - is it really possible?) and "ski in" directions would be hugely helpful. Ski in works very well IF you know which signposts to follow, otherwise it is very much trial and error which can end in a long hike in ski boots. Not fun! simple instruction sheets would solve that problem in a jiffy. We wouldn't recommend more than 6 people staying here as bathrooom space can be quite limited (unless you don't mind this)

The common room of this place is great for a group. The rooms are spacious and the location excellent. The burners on the stove make balancing large pots of spaghetti a bit challenging. Thanks for a great place at a great price. Tobey Clarkin

Terrific family condo
Terrific family condo
Our family has stayed in this condo a couple of times now and have enjoyed it every time. If you are looking for a place that can accommodate two families then this one does that very well. It has a terrific location and has always been very clean and well equipped. It also has two underground parking spots available which is very handy and not easy to find with other places.

Bachelor Party at Whistler
Bachelor Party at Whistler
On behalf of Stephen - The Bachelor, we have a really awesome time at your property. All of us enjoyed the big open spaced living room and spent 90% of our time there. It's excellent for 10 people and accommodate us very well. The big open spaced living room allowed us to hang out together in the same place, and not leave anyone behind in another room, etc. The barbecue grill was great too! We made awesome yummy steaks and had a great dinner - and had food coma at the end, too much food. It's great for big group of 10 people, or families. I thoroughly enjoyed my stay there and really glad I booked this place! Had no regrets or whatsoever and the price is reasonable too! I just hope that we weren't too loud, as at times I think we got a bit too rowdy =) Sorry about that! Gordon The Bestman

Very nice stay...
Very nice stay...
Very comfortable accommodations, nice beds, cozy living room area, and well-furnished kitchen. Liked the "ski/boot" room at the entry way where we could shed our equipment before heading into the living area. The condo is very spacious, bedrooms are very comfortable, and the setting is very clean and welcoming. Shuttle is very conveniently located, particularly on the return (just in front of the driveway!). Never did locate the ski in/out access, and found that we did have to use trial and error to find our way around quite a bit. Would recommend upgrading and updating some of your instructional and visitor reference material regarding how to get around, where to eat, what to see, etc., including simple maps and tips. However, shuttle drivers were VERY accommodating with answering questions. We did miss having easy access to a hot tub, but found our way to the Whistler Recreation Center where for a nominal fee we could use their pool facilities. This was very enjoyable. Enjoyed the flat screen TV in the living room, but would have been helpful to have some instructions as to how to better utilize the entertainment system there. Again, trial and error resulted in being able to figure out the DVD player eventually. Overall, though, the accommodations are wonderful and very restful after an adventurous day.
