"I feel that I blinked and a week was gone. It has been divine, easily the best place we've rented anywhere around the world. This is one home that actually exceeds its internet descriptions and photos. The house is spacious, with comfortable beds and furniture. The views from the second floor "office" are lovely and the room itself is inviting. For most of the day, the only sounds to be heard come from birds and the light hum of the fridge! Numerous nearby villages make for great evening strolls--Lourmarin, as well as Vaugines, Cucuron, Cadenet, Ansious, are each worthy of a visit. There are splendid Michelin-starred and other decent restaurants within a 5-10 min drive, as well as excellent marches to stock up on food. I highly recommend the Lourmarin marche (comparable in size and scope to Apt's and Vaison la Romaine's, but go early because it gets crowded), as well as the small but comprehensive one in Cadenet. In sum, there's too much to do in a week, so stay longer if you can. (We enjoyed the private tennis court and private pool, too!) You'll get an authentic Provencal experience in the midst of comfort and serenity. Deepest thanks to the owners of La Jassine for sharing their home with the world."

"Our stay at Les Vergers was everything the pictures promised—and more. It is the perfect spot from which to explore the region—and to which to return after a day’s adventure. There are so many choices: the charming hill villages of the Luberon, Avignon, Mont Ventoux, and much more. Winding along the tiny country roads from village to village is like driving through a postcard: vineyards, cherry trees, ancient abbeys, even a charmingly quirky corkscrew museum (which takes itself very seriously). Goult itself--the village is just up the road from the house--is a gem and, at least in May, almost tourist free. The owner was wonderfully responsive to our questions before and after we made our decision to choose Les Vergers. We were there to celebrate our 50th anniversary and couldn’t have made a better choice."

"Maison très spacieuse, bien équipée, décorée avec goût. Grande piscine et coin pool house où l'on peur se détendre. Emplacement idéal à côté des principaux villages à visiter. Terrasse couverte très agréable pour diner le soir. Abords bien entretenus."

"My husband and I have travelled extensively, but had never been to Provence and was looking for the perfect getaway for our 30th wedding anniversary. We wanted something near quaint towns where we could walk & explore and have some wine & food, and take advantage of the incredible outdoor markets that occur throughout Provence. We found this house in Les Baumettes/Gordes, and we didn't want to leave. The house is well appointed with all of the conveniences of home. The beds (new) are extremely comfortable. Because we love to cook (all of the incredible fish, meats, cheeses & produce at the daily markets), a kitchen which was easy to operate was key. We took daily walks/runs & bicycled throughout the vineyards and villages surrounding this beautiful place. We swam daily in the large, comfortable swimming pool & watched nightly gorgeous sunsets, followed by star filled skies.
The villages of Gordes, Coustellet, La Coste & Menerbes are all within a short drive and perfect for an aperitif before dinner and exploring the churches, vineyards & town squares.
We stayed for 2 weeks here & are planning our return for a month next year.... Completely a heavenly house in the middle of Provence!"
