"This apartment suited our family and extended family perfectly. We enjoyed the outside courtyard everyday at breakfast with fresh goods from a nearby bakery. The location was perfect as it allowed us to walk to everything...restaurants, museums, shops, etc. We appreciated the history of the apartment as it set the tone for the entire Florence visit. Management was very professional and responsive."

"We rented all 3 apartments as we were a big party and it couldn’t have worked out better. Each apartment was spacious, well equipped and very clean with a lovely Tuscan feel about them. The large pool was extremely welcoming in the 38 degree heat and with stunning views of the Tuscan hills it was the perfect place to relax. The location was ideal as you’re situated in a beautiful rural setting but just a short drive or train ride into bustling Florence city centre.
Above all, what astounded us most was the outstanding hospitality we received from Andrea, Sandra and Lorenzo. They went way beyond the call of duty and couldn’t have made us feel more welcome."

"From the moment we landed in Italy I knew we would be taken care of. Jessica stayed in constant contact with me to make sure she knew when we would arrive so she could greet us, show us around, give us information and make us comfortable. Not only is the setting of the villa beautiful among the Tuscan hills, olive trees and vineyards but the villa was very comfortable for our group of 8. We arrived during a heatwave and took advantage of the large swimming pool. Jessica also took us on a personalized tour of her family's vineyard and winery. Our last evening there, we went up to her family's home and they made us a delicious dinner including pizzas in their wood burning pizza oven on a terrace overlooking the hillside. The entire family was so friendly that my Italian parents, my uncle, my cousin, my two children, my husband and I truly felt like part of their family when we left. I would highly recommend Villa Casa di Monte, especially to wine lovers. The family's Chianti is excellent by the way."

"This will sound like the other reviews. There were 6 in our group. Great location if you want to venture out each day to see all parts of Tuscany. Francesco is an excellent host. He is very helpful, has great suggestions, speaks English well, and will give interesting insight into the culture of Tuscany. The listing is accurate and what we expected. There are great sunsets and sunrises. There is a nice courtyard for dining and drinks. We visited in August and it was very hot, but that is to be expected. Don't miss the town of Volterra. Great drive to a fortress/walled city on a small mountain. Find a bottle of Tiberio Nocens (a super Tuscan wine) made by Enzo Nocentini. Go to Poggobonsi to a Coop store south of Casa San Vito. For a real adventure try to find your way to Enzo's home and winery. Can't imagine anyone being disappointed with this rental. My wife said I had to mention our evening walk through Francesco's vineyard while watching shooting stars - From the Vermonters."
