  • Stunning Mountain Retreat

"Remarkable architecture, gorgeous setting, the luxuries of a fine hotel (immaculate) combined with the comforts of home. Great place for a group gathering. Easy to find. Very quiet neighborhood. All contact with owners was prompt and professional. Once you have filled the fridge (cupboards are stocked with many staples, cook and service ware are plentiful) ) you won't want to leave! If you do, enjoy a fine meal at Bocado. Hit Happy Hour at Charlie Clark's. Walk the Rim Trail. But mostly enjoy the peaceful beauty and comfort of this special home!"

  • Lovely and cool

"This is my second time staying at this cabin and I have to say, it's a great place to hang out for a week. It's borders a National Forest. All you have to do is walk up the street to enter and there's great hiking, with wild life and birds everywhere. It must be a well kept secret because we hardly saw anyone there. The wild flowers are particularly abundant right now because of the monsoons. It was also thirty degrees cooler than Tucson, so that was a treat as well. The house itself is charming and clean with a full kitchen, and even has a washer and dryer. They do have internet, but it's slow. I love the location. It's feels secluded and private but it is also close to town and shopping. When it rained, we just stayed in and watched movies on a flat screen TV and read or played games. They have quite a few DVDs there to choose from. We will probably be back again next year. I love it."

  • Beautiful Working Vacation in the Pines

"My husband and I wanted to get out of the summer heat and spend some time in the pines. We spent two weeks at this beautiful cabin. The photos online do not do it justice. Our kids came up when they could and, at one point, we had them all there for a weekend. Plenty of room. I love that all the rooms had King (3) and Queen (1) size beds. The front porch is what drew me to this cabin and it was great. The weather was gorgeous. The cabin is spacious and well laid out. We sat out on the porch in the evenings or watched a DVD in the family room. The hummingbirds were entertaining to watch. We had the doors and windows open pretty much the entire time we were there. Plenty of pine trees and very little traffic. Everything you need. It felt like home by the time we left. With the fireplace in the family room and master bedroom, it seems like it would be a great place to stay in winter as well. It is definitely a gorgeous cabin in the woods. We will definitely be back next summer, if not before, and hopefully stay longer. The owner was great to work with. She even had fresh flowers in the cabin for our arrival."
