  • Excellent property

"We really enjoyed our stay in late February. The apartment is spacious and well-equipped. We've stayed in many ski condos over the years and this was by far one of the best. We appreciated the location steps from the hot tub and a short walk from the Zephyr lift. The condo's owner is very responsive and even mailed us our swim suits when we forgot them. We plan to return."

  • Great Location!

"This place met all of our needs. Jim was very organized and easy to contact right away. he warned us ahead of time that 4 couples might be a tight fit, but we booked it anyway. One couple stayed in the master bedroom. Another couple stayed on the sofa bed in the living room. The last two couples stayed in the second bedroom. One couple slept in the bed on the main floor. There is loft in that bedroom with side-by-side twin beds. I would recommend the loft for children, but we made it work with adults. The kitchen was fully equipped to have a full breakfast in the morning. From there, it’s a quick five minute walk across a footbridge to Peak 9’s Quicksilver Super 6 Lift. After a full day of skiing, we were all able to have nice hot showers. The fireplace was a plus. Getting to the center of town is easy. It’s only a 5 minute walk to the Breckenridge Brewery & Pub, and from there, you can start your stroll through the town. We had an excellent time and would definitely recommend this place for future stays."

Northwest Travel Tips

Northwest Colorado Lodging for Expansive Western Adventures

Come enjoy the expansive western landscape of Northwest Colorado and experience the local history, cultures and wildlife. Northwest Colorado lodging is ideal for the avid hunter, explorer or even the family looking to experience the historical influences of past outlaws and homesteads.

Choose Northwest Colorado Lodging and Schedule a Big Game Hunt

Even if you’ve never been hunting before, you’ll love a weekend of capturing elk and deer near your mountain cabins in Colorado. Experience them in their natural habitat, and learn new skills in the process. Special hunts are also organized for kids only and first-timers to teach basic safety procedures that are so important. Send them off for a few days while the adults enjoy activities at the many resorts in Colorado, too.

Take a Wild Horse Tour near Mountain Cabins in Colorado

Experience the wild horses that live in the plains surrounding your Northwest Colorado lodging by scheduling a special tour the entire family will enjoy. Spend one day or several camping in the open lands near the mountain cabins in Colorado, and take plenty of photos to remember your adventure. Day tours, in 4x4s, designed to see the horses are also quite popular for a simple change of pace from the everyday resorts in Colorado.

Unique Resorts in Colorado Offer Access to Working Ranches

If you love to always be busy while on vacation, stay in Northwest Colorado lodging options that place you in the middle of a working dude ranch. Feed the horses and clean stalls, then round up the cattle with the other guests who are staying in mountain cabins in Colorado.

Family-style dinners can be included with some packages, so you’ll enjoy meeting with other guests. After a few days of hard work and fun learning experiences, you can return to your choice in resorts in Colorado for plenty of pampering and relaxation during the remainder of your vacation.
