  • A lovely home away from home

"The nicest vrbo home we have ever stayed in, a lot for the money - comfortably accommodates 7, homey bungalow yet ceramic tile gives a feeling of clean with every amenity one could imagine (read other reviews) and within a block of the Pinellas Trail. We rode miles every day once we figured out to go north instead of south. No need to seek out a bird sanctuary; the birds come daily to the yard and can be observed through the screened sunroom. We want to thank the neighbor (who also clued us in on driving through Walgreen's parking lot to go north on 19 Alternate, Bayshore Blvd) for alerting us or we might have been surprised by the blue heron and his feathery friends. Within walking distance of Walgreen's, Publix, a Dollar General and a thrift shop. Quiet neighborhood within easy driving distance of the Causeway, Honeymoon Island Park, and about 7 miles from Clearwater Beach. However, we preferred Sunset Beach in Tarpon Springs - no charge, fewer people, cabanas, grills, a small beach and also about 7 miles from the house though in the opposite direction. Our kids from Montana loved the area so much that they are seriously considering moving to the Dunedin area. The Trade Winds property definitely exceeded our expectations. Highly recommended."

  • An Excellent Place to Stay

"We stayed at the Captain's Quarters and totally enjoyed our stay. The condo was clean and had everything we needed. We woke up to Dolphins almost everyday and enjoyed fishing on the dock and using the boat. Restaraunts and shopping were within walking distance and the quaint downtown of Dunedin was just a couple of miles away. Tarpon Springs and Clreawater were a few miles away. But, with Honeymoon Island state park just down the causeway from us, we had many fun things to do within walking distance. We will definitely return to the Captain's Quarters."

  • tiny house packs big benefits

"Yes, it is small but it was very comfortable, clean, quiet, and convenient. Lots of storage, off-street parking, private patio, dishwasher, and laundry room are features we appreciated. The location was perfect - close to the Pinellas Bike Trail, Downtown, and the water. The owner was helpful and friendly. We hope to stay again."

  • Amazing Condo!

"We just recently got back from a week's stay in the Bridge suite of Nautical Landings. There are four suites, two on the top floor with balconies (the Helm & Bridge) and two on the main level with patios (Port Bow & Starboard Bow). Both look directly out onto the Gulf - which I can tell you is a dream come true after 20 hours in a car. The condo is located about an hours walk from downtown (or a 5 minute drive), as it is on the north side of Dunedin. It is a great spot if you want to check out some Spring Training baseball games. We visited three fields while we were down - Yankees in Tampa (30 mins), Phillies in Clearwater (20 mins), and Jays in Dunedin (5 mins). If you want easy access to all of the bars and restaurants on Main Street, you may want a closer location, but there are places near by like Frenchy's Outpost or the Ozona Blue. The condo itself was clean and well maintained. The beds were comfortable and the unit was very spacious. The dock and view was gorgeous. We saw dolphins almost every day, they would go right under the dock, which was amazing. I would probably keep the number of guests to four people, as with only two bedrooms, there can be a severe lack of privacy for whoever has to sleep in the living room. The guests in the neighbouring condos were all very friendly - even though all of our football teams clashed (Giants, Eagles, Colts, Patriots, and Packers). There was quite a feeling of community between everyone. The whole booking process was very easy, and Chuck and Terrie were both very friendly upon our arrival. I would highly recommend staying in their unit, and being a guest of Nautical Landings!!"
