"We stayed in the beach house for a week in early June 2015, I have to say that it was our most favorite vacation rental yet. We enjoyed every single part of the home, we very much enjoyed having our own piece of the coast for a week. The beach is so private, even though it's not a private beach. There were a few people here and there but we never felt like anyone was too close. My husband and son enjoyed fishing from the shore every day, they caught several different kinds of fish and several sharks. My little girl loves boogie boarding and shell hunting. It is so nice to be able to walk right out the back door and be able to enjoy the beach within seconds. The Kooky Coconut is within walking distance, and has the very best ice cream in Indian Rocks, the Captain's Butterscotch is our personal favorite. One day I got a massage from Hope at Zen Massage, AMAZING! Hands down the best I've ever received. The cottage is perfect. It's clean and well maintained. Ed was so good to work with, he was out of the country and still made our reservations and was available for all questions. If you are even questioning whether or not this is a good deal or not, I assure you that you won't be disappointed. We've stayed in condos and townhouses before, but after having a house to ourselves and the ease of walking out the door right to the beach, there is no comparison. This is TRUE beach living. My only complaint is that we didn't stay longer. Thank you for sharing your cottage, Ed, you truly have a piece of heaven."

"Absolutely perfect location -- steps from the pool, steps from the beach, short walks and/or drives to whatever you might want. The condo was immaculate, held 5 adults (2 couples, 1 single) very comfortably. Leslie was a pleasure to work with, a very smooth and easy rental at an excellent price. We will definitely be returning!!
ps -- There's a local restaurant just up the road (Walsingham) ~1.5 miles, called 'Poino' -- it has the largest breakfast menu I've ever seen, filled with incredible crepes/waffles/omelettes/whatever -- and every single thing is unbelievably good, at a great price! If you come to this condo, do yourself a favor and eat at Poino!"

"My family of three stayed in this cottage and loved it. We had stayed at a different Blue Heron Cottage last year and wanted to come back. That cottage was booked, but it all worked out. We liked this one better. :)
I love that we were steps away from the pool and the beach. We have family in Tampa and plan to stay here next time we visit."

"My boyfriend and I spent 5 days in Christine's condo. Christine is so helpful and flexible, which was great. The condo is so spacious- i don't think the pictures do it justice at all. We were looking for an apartment with a balcony overlooking the ocean and we found it. We saw dolphins every morning from the balcony! The beach was few steps away from the condo. The sunsets are AMAZING! The condo has everything you need...fully equipped kitchen, wireless, front loading washer and dryer, dishwasher, AC. ect.
IRB is a small community but has everything you need close by. Places that you must check out while there Indian Shores Coffee, Kooky Coconut, the waterfront restaurants, the boat and kayak rental place across the street, check out one of the island (honeymoon or Caladesi island) etc. St. Pete and Clearwater are within few minutes driving. You must try to parasail and the yacht cruises they offer. PIE airport is only 15-20 min away so its very convenient.
This is a great community for families or people who are looking for a laid back place to relax. If you forgot to grab a book or magazine to read while at the beach, not to worry. There is a free mini-library aka a stand where people leave or take books/magazines that you can borrow. CVS is around the corner. Please note that there is no elevator and there is a set of stairs to get to the unit; not a lot of stairs (20 or so), but it might be challenging if you are on a wheelchair.
Overall, I strongly recommend this place. If you use groupon, definitely check out Groupon for great deals on parasailing, rental gear, cruises, etc."
