  • Second year and it was great.

"Our second consecutive year at the Surfcomber was better than the first and we did not think that could happen. The cleanliness and amenities again were outstanding. One of the best properties on the island. Looking forward to being there next year."

  • Awesome Stay...

"This condo had everything you would need to relax and enjoy the view. Though the condo needed a little extra TLC prior to our arrival. We were welcome by a herd of dust bunnies and such. Tried to vacuum them up but vacuum left more dirt then when we started. But besides this item, the view, location and pool were outstanding. Where could you go and stay in in less then 2 mins. you were knee deep in the Gulf of Mexico. Make sure you get all the items you will need for your stay before you cross over the bridge. Because once you arrive....you will never want to leave. Can't wait till our next visit."

  • Great family vacation

"We booked a 3 bedroom beach villa several times thru south seas resort and this was by far the best. The kids loved the 60 in. high definition TV and the unit was much roomier. The owner clearly explained that his price does not include the south seas amenities, and the price was literally almost half of what south seas charged us. The unit had beach chairs and beach umbrellas which came in handy since the beach equipment is part of the south seas amenities. We stored the beach equipment in the car all week since this made it easier to carry to the beach. The beach villa pools were never crowded and one pool was right below our third floor porch. We were a little worried about not having the amenities, but it was not a problem. There were several great restaurants in Captiva and Sanibel. The kids also rented wave runners and parasailed on the beach in Captiva. It would help to rent a car but not necessary since you could rent a golf cart in Captiva. We keep coming back to Captiva year after year, because of the relaxing atmosphere. If you want to enjoy the Captiva experience, then this is the way to go."

  • Daisy Cottage - perfect Captiva location

"Quaint older Captiva cottage seconds from beach down a wooded path. Large spacious backyard. A bit tired decor but clean and comfortable. Able to walk to Mucky Duck and other restaurants. We traded the hustle and bustle of Sanibel for quiet sunsets on beach with a glass of wine."
