  • Best 1st time cabin experience ever!!!

"I had a chance to spend Valentines Day weekend at Eric's cabin and I must say everything was PERFECT! There was everything you could think of in the cabin, the only thing you need are your clothes. My fiancé and I enjoyed everything about the cabin from the hot tub conveniently located just outside the master bedroom, to the fire pit located near the stream! The drive to the cabin was tough but also adventurous lol. Eric was very helpful and was very quick to respond. Make sure you check out the noontootla creek!! I would definitely return for another vacation! This was a must do on my bucket list trust me you won't be disappointed."

  • We wanted to stay and stay and stay!!

"My husband and I had been looking at this rental for over a year and finally decided it was time to stay. Last week of October - the turning leaves were perfect! The house has every comfort of home, plus the nice fireplace (stoked with wood supplied by the neighbors!) and the comfortable pavilion. The last day, when we had to leave, we woke up to falling snow! Everything worked great, and the house just gives you a relaxed 'at home' feeling. Our older dog, Savannah, enjoyed her stay with the flat front yard and plenty of room to roam. Hope to come back in warmer weather to enjoy wading in the creek (though I did get my feet wet - just had to do it) Beautiful views all around, and easy access from all directions. We'll be back!"

  • Great place

"This was a great cabin to stay in while visiting Blue Ridge. Everyone loved the place and all the room. The kitchen was very stocked and we loved the roomy dining room off of the kitchen. Everyone had their own space and plenty of things to do. The view is beautiful! Great porch to sit on and take in the view. The kids loved the firepit and being in the outdoors, we saw deer two mornings in the yard. The only negatives I could think of would be: the hottub is not ready when you get there you have to turn the temp up and allow it to get hot, need new wash cloths, and a few more candles and flashlights (we were there during a storm and lost power, not a whole lot of options for light)."

  • Slice of paradise

"After the first hour I was totally relaxed; just what the doctor ordered when getting away from a stressful job! Where to begin? Indoors, the cabin (truly a cabin) is just gorgeous with all the right extra touches and decor. They actually care enough to give you excellent quality towels and plenty of them. There are Himilayan Rock salt lights in each bedroom which after going into town in Blue Ridge I discovered help greatly toward dust reduction, reduced snoring and healing (psoriasis, breathing, excema, etc.) If you have a chill, just turn on the gas fireplace at the push of a button on a timer, no less. Heats the room up so quickly, which we needed at times as it is still March. But the best part is the outside. Unbelievable! It's a man cave, but as a woman, I LOVED IT! The outdoors has a huge covered wooden deck. It's as big as the cabin itself, with a gorgeous grill, sink, fridge (for your libations, because who can be bothered to walk inside....when you're watching March madness by the fireplace)..yes AND a fireplace and TV! The adirondack rockers were my fav overlooking the valley (great for reading or meditating). And if that weren't enough, yes, a hot tub! I think this is a GIRL CAVE too. Wake up to the chirping birds...this place has it all...including Leo, the sweet dog that comes around to welcome you each day. He's smart enough not to go inside. He just likes to lay around if you welcome him, if not he'll go away. Leo made the stay even more like a home for us. I was there on their opening weekend and I couldn't believe how much there was to do. Besides Blue Ridge, which has several great resturants, including a restaurant (or 3) with the James Beard award (Harvest). Went hiking to a waterfall and White Water Rafting on the Ocoee near the Olympic rafting site for the 1996 Olympics. Who knew there was so much to do there. And if you like Craft Beer, you're in the right place. Plenty of that and specialty drinks (organic) in town, too. By the time I left here I was window shopping Real Estate in town. You can't go wrong with this place! The owners care and it shows. PS - rent an SUV, the road is a bit steep and can be muddy in the rain"
