"An experience within the sounds, smells, and tastes of the true green tropics, just in walking distance of a high wild cliffside beach front. At the beginning of the Red Road an amazing and true authentic tour for several miles through lush greenery was one of my favorite experiences. It was also a true "dream come true" about experiencing the tropics. The location is private, away from crowds, yet close enough to do many various sight-seeing and vacationing tours. We will always remember our experience there. It was one of the most memorable vacations I've experienced. Yes, I would only recommend this treehouse bungalow if you have an easy time climbing stairs and if you are in good shape. The reason for the four stars is because I rarely give five stars, and sorry, I'm sensitive to soft mattresses. Everything else was lovely, and I would go again."

Very nice place to spend time to relax and enjoy the East side of the Island.....
"This is a great place on the South East Hilo side of the Big Island of Hawaii. Very quiet with all the things you need to make your Hawaiian vacation affordable. Cooking your own food will save you a bunch of $$ as well as having a washer and dryer to wash your clothes is a big plus. If you want to do some snorkeling, You will be close to the Kapoho Tide pools and Champagne pond which we both really enjoyed swimming and snorkeling at both these locations with the hundreds of fish. The Hawaii Volcanoes National Park is fairly close, but Pele the fire goddess was clam for most of our stay. There is still plenty of very interesting things to explore and see and with some of the older lava flows it seems like an alien landscape. If you stay here you will probably need a car to get to these places, but it is well worth it for the area you will be staying. Every Wednesday there is a farmer’s market near the parking lot for the beach- don’t miss that event. Friday is not the same as the Wednesday night event so make sure you get to the Wednesday night market. We had a great stay and highly recommend staying here and will be returning in the future."

"We had a wonderful stay and can find no fault with this home. We are planning a return trip and hope to stay here again. It is the best beach house we have ever rented. Loved the waves just wonderful we hated that we had to leave but Kona was calling. Thanks so much!!

"WOW ... how to description such an amazing place! Our family of 4 - hubby, daughters 19 and 14 stayed for 3 nights in this beautiful treehouse. Upon arrival, we were met by Skye who gave us a quick tour of the tree house and provided any information that we needed. We enjoyed the serenity of the treehouse and loved looking out the windows and finding little nooks and crannies. My oldest daughter really liked her own private ladder to her part of the loft and loved sitting at the end of the walkway playing her ukelele each night. Also, those little string of lights on the pathway and walkway made the eveings so enchanting. Little details like bug spray and umbrellas near the driveway were nice little touches. Loved the fresh flowers placed in vases all over the treehouse. Skye has done a wonderful job building this treehouse, we can tell from all the details that there was lots of love poured into it. We also enjoyed our conversations with Skye and hearing about how this treehouse came to be and getting to see the another new treehouse being build. Now, my family wants to build a treehouse too! LOL A big Mahalo Skye for sharing this beautiful, unique treehouse with us! p/s Hayley left you a drawing - she was so inspired by you that she wanted to give something back."
