  • "Sista" Weekend

"This home was a great setting for the women that came this weekend. We were away from the hustle and bustle of our everyday lives. This place provided us with comfort, peace and a sense of God's wonderful blessings that he give us daily. I would recommend this place to anyone who want to feel the presence of God as you enter this home."

  • A Perfect Getaway

"We have rented many homes on VRBO in the US and none have been the quality of this Galena home! Everything was top notch- the linens, kitchen utensils, furnishings, etc! We had 10 of us staying there and we had more than enough room to accomodate us. The house is in perfect location for a short drive to Chestnut Ski Hill and to downtown. The surroundings were beautiful! We were sad we only got to stay for two nights and can't wait to come back!"

  • Cozy Comfort on Chicago's North Side

"I recently re-visited Chicago for a college reunion. The first thing I can say about Magnolia Studios is that it is a real haven in a busy city. It's tucked away on a residential street and the studio is in an old brick coach house. It's been completely updated but feels 'historic' and is behind the main house in a charming garden. There are two studios I the building and ours had everything that one would need: well-appointed bathroom with a good shower, kitchen with stove, oven, fridge, toaster, microwave and all cooking essentials, very comfortable queen bed and all the necessary accessories - iron, blow dryer, etc. There is room for a third person which we thought we would need but didn't. It's amazing that the space doesn't feel crowded, but the whole place is very relaxing and calm. There are extra supplies at the top of the stairs which we didn't see immediately, but they're very useful. There's a limitless supply of coffee pods, bottled water, toiletries and towels! It was easy for my boyfriend and I to catch the nearby bus to Loyola or downtown so I could show him the sights. Most important of all, the studio was spotlessly clean. All in all, we were blown away by this place. It's a great deal and we will definitely be back in the summer."
