Very nice & clean place with EVERYTHING you NEED & WANT
"This rental was very nice and cozy! The kitchen was equipped with more than enough plates, silverware, cookware. Everything in the kitchen is in bulk. Basic spices and coffee pot liners were already there as well- very surprising. Another thing I like is the home already had nice candles, liquid hand wash, dish detergent, and more. The game stock was good although we did not play any. Searching through the closets, I saw the home is ready for all- those with babies, get cold easily (extra), cleaning materials. I don't think the home was lacking anything. The shower in the master bedroom is the best!!! All of the rooms were nice and cozy. Having the washer and dryer in the home was very convenient as well. They left any items we needed visible and let us know to contact them if we had questions. I don't have any complaints except is seems like as soon as you get comfortable, it's time to check out. That means, next time I need to stay more than 3 days. The owner was fantastic regarding communication. They game me the best response time and feedback than anyone. I was notified throughout the process which I appreciated. Diane was a sure pleasure to work with and would definitely rent her home again. Oh, the best thing is the home is pet-free, meaning I didn't have to worry about fur and animal scent. Please beware that the couches are super comfty and can cause you not to sleep in your bed!! ;)"

"Overall, the place was great. Many amenities and well stocked kitchen and bathroom. No need to worry about bringing a hair dryer, shampoo, conditioner or body wash. Plenty of towels supplied. Kitchen even had some popcorn and air popper, coffee, tea. Nice, modern decor. Queen bed was comfortable for two.
Unfortunately, the the pull out was not comfortable. Definitely needs a foam or temperpedic mattress pad to cushion the bars. The couch itself was deep enough after removing cushions to sleep on without pulling out the bed. Plenty of bedding was supplied which was needed since the slip cover looked like it needed a good washing. There was no window treatment on the patio doors so the street light was shining in. We just covered it with a throw blanket since there was a rod. On our day of departure we did find curtains on a hanger in the bedroom closet that I suspect were for the patio doors.
We only had wifi for half of our stay. Jon came to reset it however neither my iPad or iPhone located it again. It was not that big of a deal to us since my daughter lives a block away. It might matter to others.
I do think we will come back for another stay."

"It was fun to stay at such a unique location. 56 stories up and in the middle of so many things to do. We celebrated our family Christmas. We had our two year old and baby granddaughters so we needed plenty of space to babysit. Our kids got to enjoy time on the town and we made day trips to shop and sightsee. Jim and Jeri-Lou provide everything but the food. My wife and I will try to visit again when we won't need to babysit. Very nice."

"Last year, my wife & I stayed at Magnolia Studios as part of an extended holiday in the US. We both loved the place. As soon as I knew I had a conference in downtown Chicago, I immediately booked again. Studio 1 proved a wonderful haven in the bitter tail-end of a cold Chicago winter. It was a welcome change to the usual conference accommodation and was as warm and comfortable in the winter as it had been cool and comfortable in the summer. While there for 11 nights, some plumbing work was required in the garden. By way of apology for any inconvenience, I arrived home one evening to find a fine selection of Illinois brews and some chocolates accompanying an explanation of what could be expected. More than adequate compensation for having to wait 5 seconds for the plumber to step aside one morning and me step across a hole. I would highly recommend this place as an ideal alternative to a hotel for anyone with a bit of time to spend in Chicago."
